Lots of people sleeping on this guy. Worth more than Leo to me.Kai Pearce-Paul will go to another level this year and become a real point of difference in our attack
Would be great if we could re-sign him while that’s still the case, too.Lots of people sleeping on this guy. Worth more than Leo to me.
And he had pretty much no pre-season, which I think gets overlooked. We still haven’t even seen what he can really do. Was a pretty underwhelming season from him based on the hype, but I guess we had a certain game plan which didn’t utilise his strengths. I’d probably see how he starts the season before rushing anything.
He exceeded my hopes defensively really, I thought he was very good there and is only going to improve. I believe the attack will come.We still haven’t even seen what he can really do. If his style of play is allowed under our “system”He exceeded my hopes defensively really, I thought he was very good there and is only going to improve. I believe the attack will come.
We won'tWould be great if we could re-sign him while that’s still the case, too.
What would we spend on him though it’s hard to gauge his worth, last year Lucas was miles better but I keep hearing about this potential KPP has so it clearly can’t be a lowball offer but it also can’t be a high offer especially since we got many second rowers coming through. Maybe between $500-600k as he really didn’t show a 700k sorta game last year. But he was also not bad so it can’t be less than $500k.We won't
We already know what he's capable of. Despite not having a preseason he turned out some sensational offloading (early on before he was instructed not to). Hes a sensational defender with an excellent read on the game. Clearly large, fast and very athletic. Hes an incredible talent and coming into his prime at 23 yo
We should be trying to re-sign him now. Not in 6 months after he demonstrates to other clubs that he is worth more than we'd be willing to pay him.
Sub 600k is great value for the club. What would we spend on him though it’s hard to gauge his worth, last year Lucas was miles better but I keep hearing about this potential KPP has so it clearly can’t be a lowball offer but it also can’t be a high offer especially since we got many second rowers coming through. He had to be one of the top defenders across the game last year, he literally never misses his assignmentHe exceeded my hopes defensively really, I thought he was very good there and is only going to improve. I believe the attack will come.
KPP is big enough to play middle also. Although id prefer Friz in there.Sub 600k is great value for the club.
I think we need him. Irrespective of the talent coming through, Frizz can shift to the middle. It's a very cheap solution to replace a rep quality forward.
