The "Mark My Words" Thread

Tyronne Thompson will join us before the cut off date mid season and get a 10 minute debut just before the finals.

Riley Jones will be moved to a new position during the trials, possibly wing or centre.

Dobson will coach Flegg to a title or at least a GF.

Gagai will announce his retirement but have a very good year to finish.

McDermott will get a head coach deal for the ESL or even the NRL for 2025.

Parr will cut several players who have been training before the season starts.

Someone like Fletcher Myers, Liam Sutton, Jacob Davis, Paul Bryan, Riley Jones or David Armstrong will go great in the trials and get a game early in the season.

Happy new year Warriors here. Some comments about our squad this year.

Fonua-Blake to Sharks. But we have him this year, we have some young guys he can help transition into FG. Keep an eye out for Zyon Maiuu, Jacob Laban and Demetric Sifakula. Also Leka Halasima who has just turned 18.

RTS to left Centre. Some talk of Adam Pompey with you guys. Valuable addition on and off field.

Harris-Tavita back, probably Half and logical back up for SJ. However played well for Samoa at Hooker for WC. Great D and good left foot boot.

Jo's Curren and Bailey Sironen gone good performers but loss covered by addition of Capewell.

All in all I think we are stronger this year, can we build on last year?

Yes, you guys are definitely stronger. I think RTS will be just as strong for you defensively as in attack. Johnston the key of course, his playmaking went up a couple of levels last year, kudos to Webster for that. It was a master-class he put on against us last year in the semi. I'd expect Metcalfe to wear the 6 from the outset this year and the side to benefit from that stable halves combo.

Reports are Metcalf is training the house. Poor guy just needs a break injury wise with his glass hamstrings.

Part 2 of awful predictions in 2024

- Stephen Crichton to struggle at fullback for the Doggies and moved back to centre in place for Tracey or Taaffe ✅️ (He didn't even play fullback)

Many on here will thank you while celebrating a very successful season👍✌️

In all seriousness, the 3 predictions I did get right I was super adamant I'd get right.
