I think he has some sort of agreement that if he goes back to league it’ll be with the Warriors … but they have just signed CNK, so that might be negotiable. He definitely seems a more realistic target than Manu to me!

Why chase TVS or Manu when we can chase Miller?
Especially considering we can comfortably afford either of RTS or Manu. And knowing how desperately we could use either of those players to fix our roster as we do not currently have a FG fullback at the club. I think it makes more sense to chase a 27 year old back up fullback from another club

That player swap was made out of expediency. Funding was an after thought.
We'd have a bunch of cash to spend. Until we got rid of Klemmer we had neither a fullback or a halfback..... And our forward pack is hardly 'marquee'. Our backline is populated with value buys and junior talent who've yet to make the step to large contracts, excluding Gagai who's on about $500-600k from reports as our biggest earner.
I don't understand how anyone could think we don't have at least enough to chase one significant marquee player

Marzhew should be at least 80% as good as To’o, his issue is on the defensive end but you could say that about most of their team. So if you’re a fan it becomes hard to blame the player, seems like something’s wrong with the joint itself.
