2023 Recruitment & Retention Thread

Well AOB, if you're listening, can you explain why you spent all last year trying to turn sasagi into a lock/utility, and this year that plan is thrown in the bin and he's back trying to be a center?
He's turning all our utilities into hookers, so now he needs our centre to become a utility.

Recruitment...we'd be lucky to get anyone to clean the change

Canterbury utility Jake Averillo will join the Dolphins on a three-year contract from 2024.

The Bulldogs confirmed Averillo's departure on Wednesday, with the 22-year-old set to follow Brisbane's Herbie Farnworth and Tom Flegler in joining the Redcliffe-based club.

Averillo made his NRL debut with the Bulldogs in 2020 and has started in every backline position over his 69-game career with the club.

He played in the halves when first was coming thru the had a **** run with injuries and retired early for about 2 or 3 years then think he started playing q cup.or NSW cup and got a shot.with the tigers last year and was doing a pretty good job at hooker for them and then signed for the Bulldogs this year to be a backup for Reed has been playing a bit of lock as well now that the shifted flanno to 9 he is not going to be a superstar but he will do a job for you
