Forward re-shuffle?

FFS!!

I was at the game. If anybody on this forum can say that Tolar is up to playing FG after todays performance They should donate their eyes to the blind.

I couldn't give a fuk if he is making so many metres from so many hit ups, the guy let the team down big time today. Call me negative but I can consistently anticipate his errors. Drops the ball in his first touch... Throws shhit offloads which end up as intercepts & then a try a tackle later... He is so soft in defence, you cannot rely on him to physically match up to opposition... He is so sluggish on the field, attaching himself to group tackles after the tackles made.

I don't even need to dis Ciraldo that guy is fukn kidding himself

Together these two blokes lost us the game today, giving penalties, dropping the ball & just simply not in the least threatening the opposition, they are not up to FG standard and NEED TO GO ASAP for the sake of the team!
Someone needs to calm down ...

LOL @ you blaming the loss on 2 players. Especially when 1 of those players you mentioned, was playing through the game injured along with the other lot to help the team out.

Yeah, but of course the other 4 or 5 players that were injured didn't have an effect on our loss at all

Grow up.

gee pressures on edwards and southern to perform when they play FG.... personally i trust rick stone, im pretty sure he wants the best players in his team, his job and record depend on it... so if he says tolar and ciraldo are the best backups we have he and they have my full support... so much for a positive board ms once was (apparently)

The simple fact is, our forward pack was smashed yesterday. They were totally owned. To put it bluntly, we don't have the forward pack to compete with the likes of Manly. I shudder at how will go with Canberra....

They have Tom L.L and we have Dan Tolar and Cameron Ciraldo. It's almost funny. It's funny that there are people justifying there position on the side.

I love how you compare their best prop with what you perceive as our worst players. That doesn't make too much sense. If you were doing a comparison you'd put Richie against TLL if anything

Why not Tolar or Ciraldo? Could it be that you also perceive Tolar and Ciraldo to be our worst players? Is that the reason why you would rather I compare TLL to Richie?

Yes, perhaps they are our worst players. But quality is arbitrary amongst teams, and thus it is not a question of how they rate within our squad, but rather a question of whether they are fit to play first grade and are deserving of all this insult (I'm very careful in not using the word criticism, because what this is goes way beyond that). Their efforts yesterday (Tolar with his meters and hit ups and Ciraldo with playing while injured) show that they may deserve criticism, but unwarranted name calling and denegration is something you'd expect from another forum other than a Knights one.

To be fair, if you perceive them to be the worst, then you match them up with Canberra's worst. Doing anything else doesn't make sense.

I'm not a Ciraldo fan and I won't pretend I am but the Ciraldo hate is unwarranted. I can understand the frustration with him not doing a heck of a lot but there isn't any real need to state the obvious. I won't bag anyone on here because we're all Knights fans and everyone has their opinion. Irregardless of the result, we'll all be watching next week cheering for our faves and knocking our less favourable selections. After watching the Cowboys replay I saw that when we were on the front foot Ciraldo was hitting gaps. His problem is he needs to learn to step up when we're under the pump.

It's all a moot point right now because he picked up a peck injury and we have our troops back on deck. He's wearing blue and red so let's get behind him.

Up the Knights!

Wow, someone with a bit of sense.

To put it blunt we haven't had a forward like TLL at the club for a while. This has been ongoing hence the push to sign Snowden!

No point bringing that up now, especially after a loss.

We weren't punished by Manly in the forwards yesterday. The score was 20 - 12 with 2 minutes to go. If anything, that last 10 mins we were still in it. If we didn't have that 20 minute nightmare of injuries and penalties at the scrum... who's to say we wouldn't have won the game?

I don't think our forwards were dominated yesterday as much as you're suggesting, that's all.

Candidate for worst post of the year?

I guess its Ciraldo and Tolar's fault Henry, McDonnell, Rogers, Fa'aso, McDonnell, Hilder and Ciraldo himself got injured.....

Already a clear winner. I laughed at the ridiculousness of it.

Thank you, that is all I have been stating.

Can you highlight a worst in the Canberra side? That is the point.

If we want to be contenders this year or any other year, we need a decent forward pack. It goes without saying really.

The fact that we are chasing Snowden and have recently purchased Costigan just highlights the deficiency in that regard.

Whilst I agree that the efforts of individuals did not cost us the game yesterday, for me there were two key turning points in the game.

Jarrod Mullen not finding touch with the second penalty after Richie's big run, and then Ciraldo dropping the ball first tackle. Both were absolutely unforgivable and could have completely changed the context of the game.

From a supporters view, Jarrod's effort you can almost cop because he does that much to win us games that you have to take the occassional stuff-up.

Unfortunately for Ciraldo, he has been given opportunity after opportunity by Rick Stone (on what we assume is good efforts and preparation at training) and has yet to show anything on-field to justify these opportunities. Personally I was hoping that he would make it back to first grade and string together a few quality performances, but the fact is it hasn’t ever happened. And won’t ever happen.

The frustration of myself and others is not a personal attack at the bloke, but he has not offered us anything even remotely positive when compared to the other forwards at the club. Just look at Taia, Houston, Kaufusi, Hilder, Big Richie etc yesterday.

If his injury is serious and he has another extended layoff, then there should be absolutely no reason for him to be re-signed.

Wouldn't you love to be Tolar and Ciraldo if they came to see this forum and saw all the positive comments on them, I'd make them love our supporters.
