You shouldn’t react. It’s the only reason he posted. If nobody replies he’s lost.
He has been getting worked over lately, so he would take the opportunity to try to torment us after we were eliminated.

I think what annoys me the most about the game today, though we were still in it with a few minutes left, was the complete lack of finals intensity from the safs.

I was really hoping the Safs would have started the game ripping and tearing, but for mine it looked like just another regular season game.
Parra certainly looked like they were lifted, charging runs, hitting hard in defence.

I've read plenty on here about this effect that happens when both are on the field at the same time, one tries to outdo the other. I don't see it, never have. It's a myth.

Klem coming in injured, this game was for them to dominate.

I trust I’m not the only one thinking we haven’t recruited well for next year. I don’t see bugger all improve my to our list.

As others have said Pearce and the Safs were disappointing. I was very impressed with Barney today. Ponga is an exceptional attacking player but really needs to work on his defence.

I was very impressed with Mann catching that bad pass from Pearce in front of our goal.

We need to keep improving each year. I think Gagai will be a good addition for us next year and our younger players will get another pre-season and more experience next year.

We need a backrower with ball skills.

We don't need the constant changes in the hope we get someone better.
We have a good, young squad.
We need to improve everyone 10% or 20%, and work on combinations.
Guys like Jones, Momoisea, Sasagi, Young, Hodgson etc need to force their way into the top 17 next year if they can, and the other guys need to keep them out by lifting their standard.

Probably true. Can we get a new attacking and defensive coach then please. Like pretty please. I think I’ll cry if we go with the rush up and miss the tackle on yuh edge defence again next year 😂

We have the forward pack to dominate oppositions, they just don't want to. They cruise in games and let the game come to them, when it doesn't we lose.

We have a decent half in Clifford. Ponga is an attacking weapon but isn't doing what he should be as a fullback. Playing him there we are weakening 2 positions. Brailey is solid.

Pearce is our biggest roster weakness for mine. Spine player and for mine he is a slight upgrade on Hodkinson. We need an actual quality halfback.

I commented in this thread that Pearce had the entire left side of the field clear, not a sole in sight, yet punts it on the full to Gutho standing on the right. His long kicking game is poor, his bombs are average, his short attacking kicks are acceptable.

Disagree our forwards don't dominate, no one hits hard in defence, none of them trying to pop a sneaky offload when hitting the line.
We are very predictable, all five play the same as well as the bench rotation.

Every team brings in a couple of new players each season, our current squad is still needing a lot of improvement

Making wholesale changes almost never works.
Making minor changes sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't.
Buying players is like buying stuff on the internet. You never know if what you bought is any good till it arrives - no matter how good it looks from a distance.

Clifford has been great in defence since he arrived. Could really become a very good player with more experience.

Clifford come up with some solid tackles and was chasing the kick hard. Happy we got him!!

Those 6s again killed us just before half time then when Dan got called offside and didn’t wanna give away another one/penalty so that’s how the space opened up for Moses to slice through. Gave them some confidence then they got the next one which sucked for us.

Im thinking Ponga is probably injured or something, I thought he wasn’t putting his body on the line in cover defence that well. (Said from the guy sitting on his lounge)

Credit to the eels, they have a tough run if they want to make the GF, be interesting to see how they go.

Wish Connor and Josh well for next year, but not too well when we play them.
