Better side won and to be honest we did well to keep it close. Parra killed us in the arm wrestle early and we faded badly in the back end of the first half. Showed a lot of ticker to get back into it and we actually iced most of our chances. So overall the game kind of went the opposite to how I might have guessed.

Ponga showed what a star he is with ball in hand but that Moses try in the first half, it was a very poor defensive error from Klem which caused it but if Kalyn’s effort was just a biiiit better there our chasing defenders probably get him. Proved to be costly.

Moses was terrific, but Brown & Gutho both poor. Pearce had an absolute mare. The more Clifford has the reins the better we look.

Key areas of improvement next year are edge defence, connectedness in attack and strength/conditioning.

Just another thing, Anyone notice their 9 go in to a tackle, get his head in the wrong spot and come out all jelly legs, one of the SAFS had to hold him up, yet he was let stay in the game?

HIA rules are idiotic, same as Tyson gets KO'd clearly no good, yet trainer gives the thumbs up only for him to be replaced just after.

What lost us the xxxxxx game was that bullxxxx call with Hunt that led to a try because they had the ball down our end when they shouldn't have been and they scored and the second try in that period was a forward pass from the ruck .

Did you watch? It was d saf who got called out of the line you wally hahah. Klem may have been there but I haven't watched a replay.

And mods wonder why people rile at CBM here, calling him a troll and a pest.

Right at the end of our season, when we are coming to grips with the end, this cockroach decides it;s time to login and troll.

But hey, valuable forum member, can't comment against him, protected species.

Anyway, it IS all irrelevant now, as our season is done, and Parra advance. Cry all you like about it, it's over.
I wouldn’t worry about CBM. How many finals games did Cowboys play this year? Zero. How many the year before? Zero. They’ve brought Townsend in on big money, who is washed up. Also on big money is Holmes, who is inconsistent at best. They’ve got one of the best locks in the game in Lolo, and Payten the moron hasn’t worked out that lock plays in the 13 jumper. Their backline is trash and their young forwards are raw who, under Payten’s watch, could very well go backwards. Times are tough supporting the Cowgirls :p

Actually not mad at that game, glad it was tight the whole way. Thought we did really well in the middle of the first half where we were stuck on our own 10m for 3 sets and getting smashed one by one. The Knights of old would have crumbled but we managed to get out of there unscathed and back up the field.

We are slowly moving forward as a club, but need to take it to the next level now with some strike signings in the centres/2nd row.

Yeah culturally there’s a good baseline to work from now. But the hardest step is the next one, all the little improvements you need to make at once to be legitimately a really good side.

You shouldn’t react. It’s the only reason he posted. If nobody replies he’s lost.

Yeah it's a complete joke. Multiple times a week you see a trainer clear a player who clearly got knocked out, only to take them off a minute later after review. The on field testing is obviously not good enough.

Mitch dropping the ball off the kick off and the hospital pass to Kurt Mann close to our goal line should not have happened.

It'll be interesting next year, I think it'll be Pearce's last year and it is probably the opportunity to contend the premiership if things go our way injury wise. At least we will have Gagai in the centre

No runs from Pearce, that's when his at his best imo. He needs to take the line on. That's the effort I want from him.

Yeah just on Brown has he done anything like ever? He gets huge wraps and I’m yet to see him do anything of note at all.

That wasn't what I said?

Thought we needed to use the ball more in the final ten when the game was on the line, but just had one out hitups.

Definitely didn't get many chances and did well to score the points we did ... but we had a chance at the end and didn't throw a lot at them.

was just referring to your thoughts as being shallow
We haven’t got anything to throw at anyone other than ponga the forwards were the reason we were even playing this game.

Agree. Surely it should be a coach call. They'd see the replays. The doctors calls are wayyyyy too late. Especially try scoring situations like today. Your brain doesn't recover in seconds to make sound defensive decisions.
