Interesting to see Sam Walker so low too. Would have been top 3 on that list in his rookie season. He’s become a better player now, 2024 was his best season as a first grader. For some reason gets fewer wraps now.

An interesting factoid in the Herald article this morning.
Says Jacob Saifiti and Georgia Roche are working with the junior sides on a weekly basis.
Roche working with young halves like Isla Hodgson could pay dividends, but given that junior props like Hopwood, Hilliar, Carmichael, Bryan and Sua are all training with firstgrade, I wonder who Jacob has left to work with.

I don't know about the worst defender, he just got away with an $850 fine and a 6-month driving suspension for unlicensed drug driving which led to an injury to a child... can't be too bad at defence.
If he was a tradie would he get the same penalties is the question. If yes then play on (although it does seem light given a child was injured) if no then there really should be an explanation. I wonder if the NRL will also go light on him.

Walsh and Carrigan are already pretty young girls to be fair.
Jack Bostock must be doing some bribing behind the scenes. The fact that Kayal Iro isn’t even mentioned here but Bostock is - but more importantly, Bostock somehow winning rookie of the year over him - is outrageous.
