2023 Recruitment & Retention Thread

We have so many good young forwards we can't keep them all.
I see Lachlan Crouch and Trentham Petersen are both playing Flegg for Cronulla and I haven't seen Travis Petersen since Ball finished.
The Johannssen brothers were both in reserve grade a few weeks ago, although Noah was 18th man and didn't get on the field. I'd love to see them both on the field in Flegg before they go. I first saw them both playing for Northern Rivers against our Johns cup side when they broadcast that every week a few years ago. They smashed us in Johns cup.

I suppose we always have Myles Martin if we are looking for a big unit. He is only 17, but I'd say he'll be the tallest in Flegg this week, and he has the added bonus of being a great mover as well. He scores all those tries with a great step as well as size and strength.

He will be returning back to QLD better opportunity.
I think it’s sad to see, another talent brought to club and now gone elsewhere.
I thought he had some quality cup games last year and was looking strong.

As far as I'm aware he is going by himself. His parents own a Newcastle based company, it's been on the cards for months. He wasn't happy sitting on the bench in cup and rightfully so but a few injuries have slowed his progress. I wish him all the best.

Travis had been playing real NRL with Souths since Ball finished but is now out for the season injured.

Cool so 1 year to get use to the nrl, so 2025 we will have a decent young player....
 
I live in Brisbane and Dobbo announced on his afternoon show on triple m that it will be announced next that Milford has signed a 2 year deal with the Dolphins
 
Well, if Milford is going and Clifford is staying, I wouldn't waste the opportunity to get Clifford back in to firsts

He gets all the Broncos mail correct. He seems pretty tight with Bennett after covering the Broncos for so long. Gets a plenty of interviews with him when other reporters struggle to get anything.

For the rest of the year. I don't think Clunes our guy long term in the halves. Clifford could be. Milford playing well enough to hold his spot.
