the more i think about our issues in the halves and lack there of, the more i think we should just slap the 7 on pongas back. strong running game, defenders stand off him and can pass deep into the line. get him working on his short kicking game, get his hands on the ball as much as possible and have frizell protect him in defense. then go into the market for a quality fullback. surely thats going to have a better outcome for us than signing brookes.

looks like thats an hour or so drive from redcliffe and we know he was broke and desperate for money earlier in the year. wouldnt read too much into that

He has another house up there aswell. Who knows if he owns that one outright or not. $600 in rent would barely cover the mortgage at current rates. More then likely just a sell off to keep him living the life.

He would kill it in SL!

Our coach confirmed offers have been made but Tex is committed to the Knights for 2022.

Seems other NRL clubs have apprached his manager as well

Huddersfield were dominated the entire game but they ended up coming back and only losing 26-18.

Pryce had a pretty quiet game until the last 5 minutes where he got a try and a try assist.
 
Yes, both parties can mutually agree to end a contract early, and payment of some or all of the remaining balance of the contracted salary can be paid out as part of the severance agreement, and that need not be paid in a single lump sum. Matt Lodge I believe got paid out in full by the Warriors after still being paid by the Broncos this season, when you add his new Roosters salary he might make more money than any other player this year 😂

Read an article that seemed to say they were moving Turpin on from Broncos.
We were interested in him, but I think Brailey coming back and Randall improving steadily means we don't need another hooker right now.

What was reported at the time was the signing was dependent on Brailey coming back on schedule.. since he is back this week I would say there is no further interest at this stage.

Unlikely but Cobbo or Mam would be nice.

Corey Oates would be good at the right price to replace Eddie.
Albert Kelly as depth.

Broncos seem to have a lot of players on big money for next year, surely something has to give.
Hass, Reynolds, Staggs, Farnworth, Cobbo, Walsh
