I'm guessing his talking about Burton.WHAT?

Yeah, wiping your hands of a young player when you are finished with him sends a great signal to the rest of the squad. We aren't trying to sell him as anything, he's off contract
suggesting the club is playing him in the halves to look after his interests is rubbish.Yeah, wiping your hands of a young player when you are finished with him sends a great signal to the rest of the squad.
But back in the real world, players who have done their best for the club get a bit of help with moving on.
Playing Tex at 7 in the last few games is so out of the blue it has to be for something like that.suggesting the club is playing him in the halves to look after his interests is rubbish.
maybe because cliffords a 5/8 he will be here next year and hoy wont. kind of makes sense having clifford play the position he will most likely be playing if milford moves on. like mentioned before why do we need to try and sell a player who is off contractPlaying Tex at 7 in the last few games is so out of the blue it has to be for something like that.
I don't remember him ever playing 7 - 6 sometimes, but never 7.
But OK - Hull want to know if he can play half and us deciding to run him at half for the first time is just a crazy co-incidence.
As much I rate Burton, we'd find a way to ruin the bloke within his first 4 games.I think Burton is the one you make a big play for. He's the future superstar.
You're probably right, but I'd sign him and Brayden Searle and reunite them in first gradeAs much I rate Burton, we'd find a way to ruin the bloke within his first 4 games.

Well I don't think he's capable of being an organising halfback, but nevertheless, the article from the local Hull newspaper talks about them needing a halfback and saying Hoy is the guy they are targeting, and suddenly Hoy is running out in the 7 jersey. Toohey also said on the weekend that Hull might take him now if we release him, but Hoy is still looking to see if he can find an NRL contract.Whether there’s a 6 or 7 on a player’s back really doesn’t tell you anything about their playing role in the modern game though. He had a 7 on his back but he didn’t start playing like Adam Reynolds, he pretty much played the way he does at five-eighth.
