Didn’t the Knights drop Tapine when he signed with the Raiders? Then there was a ****e show, the RLPA got involved and Tapine was released early to the Raiders.
This situation hurts a team like the Knights than a team consistently in the top 4-6.
The big end of town always get their man, while a team like the Knights are cannon fodder until an absolute champion like Joey Johns comes along each generation or century. Reality bites!

People seem to forget that the Dolphins and Dragons exist. They'll battle it out for the spoon this year. Both have terrible rosters.
I'm quietly confident we'll do better than the 'experts' think and be in the mix for the 8. The rest will depend on injuries and the football gods.

We definitely need to build combinations. Especially with the spine. But what we have in our favour is we play bottom 8 teams for the first few rounds. Hopefully we can keep everyone on the park for an extended period of time.

In Tooheys news today he says the reason the Miller swap took so long is because Cronulla wanted Maps as their first choice swap, Myles Martin was their second choice, who met with Fitzgibbon and rejected their overtures, then asked for Fletcher Sharpe and the Knights said no, and it finally came down to Ethan Ferguson or Max Bradbury. Whoever their scout is, he has a fair handle on our junior talent.
