Has there been many games where Hetherington has been accused of not having a go?
I don’t really follow teams closely outside of our great Knights, but the games I’ve seen and can remember, he always seem to be having a crack - sometimes to his own detriment. it’s hard to add much when you’re in the bin, suspended or giving away multiple penalties

As long as his price tag isn't too much he'll be a good signing and always have a dig.
If he is replacing Sue and Saulo he is a big upgrade.

That should be the aim of recruitment not always are top class players available or able to be afforded so then it’s a matter of improving the squad by replacing non performers with better. Can see us letting Saulo and Sue go along with a few others so if Elliott and Hetherington are being signed to replace them I am ok with it. I hope recruitment doesn’t lose sight of the fact we need to upgrade our halves and retain some cap if someone becomes available.

This is my issue, we seem to be letting players walk like Pearce and Barnett, and replacing them with either worse players, or no one.

Clune was a upgrade according to some on here in pre-season even when I pointed out he was stuck in reserves behind Norman of all people at the Dragons…
Did anyone actually say this?

Several said Pearce was done and wouldn’t be missed. I know of one that said Clune was an upgrade.Did anyone actually say this?

Hasnt Hunt been at the Dragons for a few seasons, if so then Clune was behind him in ranking, he was an upgrade on what we were expecting but not on what we wanted
If it was Ethan then it doesn’t count, we all know he gets very optimistic

I think halfback is one proven position where you need experience 99% of the time and need to spend there not going in cheap with a career reserve grader.If it was Ethan then it doesn’t count, we all know he gets very optimistic
A couple of sides this year are finding out the hard way while a couple others have improved immensely after spending big on their new halfback.

I think with players like klemmer and friz in the team they could maybe give some good direction and take a player like Jack hetherington under their wing to get the rubbish out of his game. Not a certainty but definitely a possibility.
Hope so coz he is a bit of a maniac atm.
