I think it'll work regardless. He already plays like a half, chuck Hoy in at fullback and Crossland at halfback and I still think it's a better fit for the team. Now if we want to be competing for a top 4 spot, that's where your good fullback and halfback will need to come in.

Based on current signings if we move Ponga to 6 who plays 1 and who plays 7.
Gamble is a 6, find a good 7, Hastings, Brooks etc and Ponga is 1 until we find suitable 1 and 7 to make it work until then we just have to suck it up and hope for the best, we ain’t to bad in every other position barring head coach

i don't read into contracts any more, they are just there to make sure the player gets paid. Other than that they are worthless. Players and clubs break them all the time. We just need to find the right player in the right situation to be willing to break their contract.

I wouldn’t bother targeting Chris Lewis, he’s 30, looks average when he plays for the storm and has had some off field issues.

Mate, at the rate this recruitment team Is going I don't think they could hit water If they fell out of a boat In the middle of the ocean.

I think he's what we need, we need another middle forward for depth and I think that him being around Leo and Mat in cup will only benefit them. Hes a hard working player, battler kind of style player. Got experience at a winning club and is a middle aged footballer, still got plenty of years left in him. A 1 or 2 year deal won't hurt and will be a cheap depth player.

And off field dramas? A bit of white powder in a video he was in, nothing more nothing less that's why he got the minimum suspension unlike the other boys. And Its hardly an "off field drama"

I'm wondering if Clunes injury hindered him most the season? Both physical, and his confidence. He relies on his pace.

Jayden Campbell yes, Taaffe gets dominated too much returning the ball. Niu needs major work on defense both his and setting the defensive line
