I don't think he's the most reliable source going around but The Mole has reported us and Cronulla are interested in signing Daniel Atkinson a half from the Sunshine Coast Falcons and playing for Italy at the RLWC right now.

He played 1 game for the Storm last year in the final round against the Sharks off the bench.

Herald article says it's been reported in England that Hull FC want Clifford for the halves and will move Hoy to fullback if they get him.

Article also says the Knights would let him go if he requests a release.

Hoy will play fullback regardless. They just let their fullback Jake Connor go early, who they were going to use at 6.
 
reports today that we are interested in Daniel Atkinson, played halfback for the Falcons in Q Cup this season and is currently playing centre for Italy in the world cup. Would be interesting to know if we are interested in him as a centre, five eight or halfback

Yay, we have really set the bar high with going after an unknown who plays half in state cup but gets moved to another position for Italy....go knights lol

AOB is a loser. Wtf are players like Keighran and Atkinson going to do for us? Aside from take up cap space and ensure we go sideways, as a best case.

We need to be targeting one or two marquee players, poached, traded, stolen who gives a fk. And that needs to happen every single off season until we've got a team that can win. Sick of the idiotic hopefulness that is keeping players like Mann and Tuala at the club. They are a pipedream. No top serious top 8 club would have either of them on the roster let alone the starting 13.

How you win premierships:

Gamble with talented players. Hope that junior development and a minority of journeyman can support for injuries as rotation players. And if you get a run without injuries the standard of the juniors and journeyman increases by default of the difficulty of breaking into the 17.
