If we have Brooks I think Ponga will stay at f/b with a multitude of maybe 5/8‘s as we have no replacement for Ponga at f/b. Hodgson needs time and yet to show enough for 1sts

Let's just hope that If Brooks Is actually signed that the big boys give him a chance to make the most of his potential while he Is here.

As you said, he always has a dig no matter what.

free to negotiate from nov 1, 5 other clubs circling. id say he may feel its worth testing his value more so than us not offering a deal, surely theres a deal there waiting, that no doubt we are going to have to up come november 1
 
If Dom really backs himself he might not sign anywhere till late next year.

Clubs might be talking decent firstgrade money for him now.

If he backs himself to have a great year in 2023 he might be talking about big money.

They would give him big money now, just seeing his form In the WC Is enough for any club not to make an offer.

How have they allowed this to happen. Report saying the Knights are yet to table an offer to Dom who is now starring in the world cup and his Manager is reportably in talks with 5 other clubs for 2024 onwards. Only the Knights could allow our best player this year to head off to the World Cup without locking up for a few more years. Who the hell is our recruitment manager? Totally incompetent club in every department.

If we're going to move Ponga to 6 then up Dom's money and play him at F/back.
I think he could handle it pretty easily really, especially if he trains there in the off season and that saves us buying a F/back.

I wouldn't mind seeing Dom inject himself into the game from all over the field, he has good hands and knows how to score. He runs hard tackles hard has a step and swerve and like's doing the hard yards too, Give him a shot.
 
However veteran journalist Phil Rothfield believes a deal is likely to be struck in time for the start of next season and he could partner Kalyn Ponga in the halves with the superstar fullback likely to make a switch to five-eighth.

i don't understand why people are suggesting Dom play fullback. Has he ever played there?

Also his hands are terrible under a bomb

Agree we need to keep him, but he is a winger. If you want him involved more, watch what the Roosters do with Manu and apply that. Give Dom a license to roam the field

Watch how England spread the ball to him for his first try vs Samoa! He’d never see ball like that at the Knights in a million years.
