i am pretty happy with the side that played on wed night, although i would bring in Douglas to partner Snowden as the starting props, and the other position that will be under the spotlight is 5/8, and although i am not too much a fan of bird being a 5/8 we need someone who is comfortable at origin level to partner Pierce in the halves as he is stil inexperienced in origin and Bird gives us that stability.

As long as Idris can work on his rushing in, in defence i would also like to see him there

Uate is ineligible until after the international cylce (2013 WC Final)

Beau Scott won't wear a sky blue jersey ever again, that will only happend if he goes back to Cronulla (unlikely)

Uate is right to go next year Gids said so on the footy show a couple of weeks ago.:dancing:

Hmm, according to current international laws he will have to wait two years from last representing Fiji. That makes it November 2011 that he will be eligible to change his alligience to Australia, mening he will be available for NSW in 2012.

BAH. What a stupid rule, because it encourages players to not get involved with their home country. I'd be happy for the rule to stand if there was a thriving international competition/exhibition games every now and then which meant if players went to their native country they wouldn't have to wait every four years to get a game!

I think the representative rules for SOO also must change. Everybody knows about the Inglis/falou debacle (although if NSW were winning im sure we wouldn't care).

hindmarsh is still top of his game so i feel he still deserves to be in the side
Gibbs deserves a go

Uate 90% will be fine to go for next year. Trying to work with the Rule, Daley really wants him if he's coach from what i've heard.

It'll be a disgrace and make international league even more of a joke if he is allowed to play next year.

I pray to god Australia don't put their own petty interests ahead of the international game YET AGAIN!!!

I don't see what there is to work with, the rules were there when Uate played for Fiji last year, if he didn't know them then that's his own fault.

Surely Australia can't just break the international eligability rules coz they feel like it?!?!

I'm more afraid of Daley being coach atm!!!

Hmm, he's shown he's a dreadful selector, why would NSW want to promote him to coach?

If we're talking ex-players, I think Fittler is the man for the job, he has some experience and success with coaching at least. All Daley has is a few meaningless City Country games.

But overall my pick would be Hasler. Got the passion, the experience, the successful track record ... I think he'd be able to lead NSW to victory.

I dont think NSW should get a club coach, either Ricky Stuart or Gus Gould should be coach next year if we're ever going to win again.

I don't think Gould will coach unless there are some changes at the NSWRL. I'd get Stuart and have Fittler under him.

Yeah Phil Gould has like the most successful record I don't think he'd come back. Credit to him though he's the best genius ever. I think Ricky's lost it, and plus I heard earlier in his career he's always had genius assistant coaches. I don't think Johns would be allowed anywhere near the camp for a few years :P

Fittler, maybe, but I hold him on the same level as Jason Taylor. Like they've got experience and all but we all saw how the Roosters crumbled and Fittler was made the scapegoat, so i'm not sure if it was actually him or just the club going through a rough time. Jason Taylor is the same story.

Nathan Brown is coming back hahahahhaha :D jokes, I wouldn't let him within sight of the NSW camp. atm the only options (with independant coaches) seem to be Taylor and Fitler. Maybe they could do a joint thing?
