Tinkler Pulls Out - NBN News reporting

Ok I think I was a bit emotional earlier :crazy: HAHA . Now let's think this over the deal is not dead. Tinkler still wants the club he just doesn't want to deal with the current management .
As far a Burriston is concerned if he has stuffed up this deal , he owes the supporters . He owes us a good financial turn over for the next ten years , He owes a good competitive team for the next ten years . And most of all he needs to give us the supporters a reason , A reason to believe our club will be successful in the future . Rugby League is life to a lot of people in the Hunter lets make sure that the heartbeat stay's alive

Why dont we get a forum member protest happening at head office?????? We can whinge, whine, complain, discuss all we want on here about our unhappiness, but it not going to change anything, we need to take it further and be pro-active about it.... Protest at head office!

Did the knights end up making a profit after that stuff-up with the turf and the motorcross that happened the end of last year?
Last I heard Jody McKay was sending the $500k bill to the knights and I thought we only just made a profit.

Not sure if the annual report has come out for 2010. But I think a profit is going to be hard to achieve, given the lost ticket sales due to the stadium redevelopment.
 
This Is Freaking ridiculous it Seems like the board would have lost their jobs if tinkler follower and they didnt want the deal to go through. ****
 
Hey we don't need tinkler. members of the forum, let's put all our money together and match his offer. Everyone dig deep into your bank accounts! I've got 45 bucks to boot, let's DO THIS.
 
If Tinkler refuses to deal with current managment, Tew and Burrston must fall on their swords and resign. That way it will get Tinkler back to the table and let the members decide!

This entire episode has shown that members have no rights at all in the running of the club and the board feel that it is their own private property!:fist:

I totally disagree. I think that they spend too much time running their fingers up the bhind.
 
I cant believe how blinded you all are. FFS it's a football club that he was trying to steam roll. Read the fine print and you will see that the $$$ were not that great and that they would come at a cost.... IDIOTS.

Burro and Tew are looking long term for not for a toy for a few years. Good on em. they arent selling their soul.
