I know it's bad to say but it has to be said every game if they play like that... Would hate to see if Thurston and O'donnell were playing. It's ashame they have all that talent but can't use it for the full 80mins.

It wasnt pretty but hey we needed those 2 points!!!
Im not overally concerned about letting 2 trys in the 2nd half, we see it so often not just in knights games teams putting on a huge 1st half score and in the 2nd the other team coming out firing after coping a spray off the coach.
I really think had we had a bigger bench we would have dominated more in the later stages of the game, Mika showed he isnt ready to be a regular starter in the team just yet with some inexperience shown with silly penaltys etc
Welcome back rodgers he and mullen combines so well and i think they should be the starting halves next week, Gids was rusty to be expected and will only be better for the game!!!
 
Good win. Still far from perfect in the 2nd half but they showed far more determination than they did against Penrith. Missing a number of our best 17 to so it's a good sign for the future. Let's hope we can keep this up with a couple of 'easier' games in the next few weeks including Brisbane and Cronulla
 
Thought Dodge was alright for us tonight, made a few errors but same can be said about Gids- a little rusty but couldnt expect much more from him. Mullen was a little disappointing, his kicks weren't all that spectacular but a lot more responsibility fell on his shoulders since Dureau was out.

Tolar was solid in defence, Ciro i thought had a great game starting.
 
simmo taia and dureau should be back next week hopefully so will be a better bench but i rekon rogers has to start next week played pree solid IMO
 
I'm not a huge Ben Rogers fan but I thought he was fantastic tonight especially for his first game of the season. He and Gids seemed to provide that spark when things were going against in the 2nd half which has lacked so far this year. That tackle on Ty Williams was sensational
 
Not a really good performance (in the 2nd half) but atleast we get 2 points, ill drink to that :dancing:
 
Well im back from the game now, yewww what a win boys! Gidley wasnt at his best but lead the side subperbly, keep rogers and mullen, they are a combo that wins us games, Cooper well what do i say, over the course of this year i have criticised you for running sideways, but being at the game i dont think i saw you run sideways once, you are a tank! You derserved that hattrick! Our fowards were solid, with the likes of Cross, taufua and degois. Mullen well, some nice passing but the kicks do need some work, and dodge well imo that performance was good enough to get a spot in the team and to keep dureau out of the team, a little bit sloppy but good considering he is coming back from injury.

And on another note, how good was the willie is a wa*ker chant, and anyone that sat in the southern concourse seats or the south hill would of noticed after the last vuna try when they were going to the video ref, the crowd was yelling abuse at willie and he pulled down his pants to the crowd, yes it was absolutely disgusting.
