Her contract has three years to go, until the end of 2027.

She was/is signed till the end of 27 - so 3 more years.
She was worth every penny we paid her and finding similar value will be hard.

The good news is that Jefferies and Bec Young now have a lot of money to spend and can put their own stamp on the squad.
The bad news is the new teams mean all the good players have been snapped up, and we'll need to think outside the box to find a way to spend our money.
 
Including preseason it's 5 months + she had a community role with the club that would run year round, or at least as long as the NRL season

Massive challenge for the recruitment people to spend her money anywhere near as well.
We were lucky to have her and the money we spent got us 2 premierships.
I'd wish her well in her future endeavours, but that probably means a Qld side winning the GF.

I would be trying to get either Millie Elliot back or Olivia Kernick as marquee forwards as that was a major issue last year proven by roosters smashing us up in the semi

I think we can replace to a degree Tamika with Lily white but we need massive forward impact and that money should be going towards that and upgrade and extend McEwen and Finau
 
Send a decent amount to McEwen. She is going to be incredibly important to success of club and needs to be locked down.

Doubt we’ll pick up a Marquee player unless it’s a Madison Levi or some international Rugby player as majority of top players are contracted. People saying Mille, fairly certain she is signed long term at rorters. And she won’t sacrifice the journo job even though she’s pretty poor at it.

Between Lilly Ann - White and young Macey Cox I think We are fine at fullback. Massive fan of Macey and looking forward to seeing her progress.

This really emphasis the need to lock on locals who don’t want to leave for the city. Likes of Dom Young who want the big city lights can just go.

I’m not putting Tamika on that category, she does generally have a very sad situation with her family from what I’ve been told and we have 2 premierships because of her. Love he for it.

I have a sneaky feeling she is t going to play NRLW team. Be very hard to see her in another team and hoping she doesn’t.
 
Few reports getting around Botille Vette-Welsh is the target Knights are looking at for replacement of FB role.

Captain of West Tigers. Good talent who suffered a bad AACL a couple season ago and came back via Tigers. Be a good mentor for Lilly-Anne and Macey Cox
 
Eww, famously turned her back on the Kiwi Ferns to play for the Jillaroos. Would find her really hard to cheer for after that, even aside from her actual performance.
 
haha. that fell heavily like a late night bog.

Hasn;t shown a lot with Tigers but not much room to do anything there. Personally would have liked us to aim higher, but don't know who
 
Vette-Welsh would only be on a fraction of Upton's money.
She would give us a bit of backline experience, and leave us enough salary cap for a very good prop.

We have lost Upton, Johnston, Albert-Jones, Butler, Roache, Maynard, Carter - something like a third of our salary cap - and only signed a handful of fringe players and juniors so far.
We must have the money for 3 or 4 quality signings.
 
Problem is there isn't really any available. Most of them locked up in NRLW contracts

Union no idea.

We have coverage for:
Albert-Jones --> McEwen
Roache --->Willerson/Anne-White/Finau
Maynard ---> Ollerton/Joeli Morris
Carter ---> Kukutai
Big signing need to be front row.

A Marquee position is available, though I don't know if you have to use it up each year.
 
Not sure Peter Parr has had the impact I was hoping for. A significant number of the Two Time Premiership Winning side has left including the coach and unfortunately I don't see how you can sugar coat this. I thought Upton looked really frustrated in the semi-final loss and I'm not surprised she has gone.
