Gags is probably still carrying injuries but the answer to the problem is playing Hunt instead of him. I think we performed better last week with Hunt at right centre instead of Gags.Probably the biggest concern out of last night was Gag's defence. Not sure what Holbrook does, but it's a problem.
Also he shouldn’t have got the ball on the fifth tackle when nothing was on. Not his role to kick on the fifth.Gags still also has the odd brain explosion. That short kick he did on the 5th was very bad. Handed be ball over to them on the half way line.
I think we finish 6th.Also need dolphins to drop one or 2 and the wahs to drop another game other than ours. Realistically I reckon we finish 6th. Home semi would be nice
I reckon could be out of souths bulldogs or cowboysI think we finish 6th.
That's probably where we deserve to be.
So does 6th mean a home semi against 7th?
It’s a soft run in in theory but in practice there are opponents in there who may get up for them.Yeah, the Phins also have a soft run-in, not as soft as the Sharks but still soft. They do play the Roosters away in the 2nd last round though.
What’s going on? Phoenix never gets injured which pretty amazing given how his work rateApparently Phoenix hurt his calf last night... Not sure how bad it is yet
Yeah, besides the Roosters, they have the Broncos and Manly who will both be desperate for different reasons, and they're away to the Titans for the final round, so they'll be playing their grand final. It’s a soft run in in theory but in practice there are opponents in there who may get up for them.
Yeah I had a play with the predictor and its basically not going to happen our top 4 chances are very slim even if we win all our games.Trying to explain to my old man that after today the Sharks don't play another team in the top 8 and have games against the bottom two, and that they are quite possibly going to win most, if not all, of their remaining games... so we actually want them to beat the Rabbits today.
Our slim top 4 hopes are winning our remaining games and beating the Wahs in NZ. The Wahs play Penrith next week (so go Panthers).
Thats a big big big issue...Apparently Phoenix hurt his calf last night... Not sure how bad it is yet
Haha could not disagree more with that and I think Cronk is taking crazy pills there. Two chances to make a prelim and one of them is a home game vs a team that just played an elimination final. Plus, getting that experience of finals intensity vs Penrith is very valuable.Yeah I had a play with the predictor and its basically not going to happen our top 4 chances are very slim even if we win all our games.
I tend to agree with Cronk, 5th or 6th is better than playing the top two first week of finals we have a rest the week before the finals so winning 4 in a row isnt out of the question and playing the dogs potentially week 1 of finals would be much better task than the Panthers or Roosters
No way Harv, you know the old saying, have to finish outside the top 4 to win it!Haha could not disagree more with that and I think Cronk is taking crazy pills there.
