Eels will be flat out making the finals next year. There is a team every year that finishes the season with some promise then everyone picks them to kill it for them to disappoint. Moses is a great player but besides a few good young players I think their roster is lacking.
 
SURELY, it can’t be just a one year with Eels, signed with broncos for 2027. What a farce.

There has to be some catch.

I just can’t see a world where Eels sign him for a year. What does that achieve? Even made crazier by the fact they had an international, highly rated Brown there this year that they refused to play because they wanted to look to the next generation.

If he’s indeed signed on for Brisbane in 2027, the only way it makes sense is if they plan to play him at Prop, and batter him.

If he is not officially signed, it would be interesting If they say, okay, come play in 2026, if you like it here, stay, here’s 2027,2028 player options, learn from Moses and see what Ryles has to offer. If at the end of the year, you want to go, you can. Big gamble but at least that is palatable and backing their coach/system publicly instead of the current cuck situation going on.

Literally the laughing stock of the league considering how they treated Brown.

Bit difficult for me to see this after the flogging they dished out to the Knights in the last round. The sight of their players laughing as they put a clinic on the Knights is burned into my psyche.
 
Really hoping O'Sullivan has something up his sleeve come Nov 1. Getting worried about next year. Can laugh at eels getting pezet for 1 year but that put them well ahead of us for next year. Couldnt confidently say we have a better squad then anyone. Maybe similar quality to Tits, Cows and Tigs

Im the opposite I think we have a better squad than what most people think, its no premiership winner, but certainly not a bottom 5 squad, I wouldn’t mind another first grade prop and a solid hooker but honestly I think we should be hunting top 8 in 26’ even without that, our team has the potential to be the most lethal attacking side in the comp.

Sometimes it’s not about the better squad and just finding how to get the best out of it to beat the “better” squads
 
just any middle really but a prop who can get over the advantage line ideally.
If we can land a 9, send crossland to 13. If we get a frizell can be an impact prop and fill in at backrow. With Frizz in the middle we dont have another decent and experienced backrower. I think if we have a prop out for an extended time we're in big trouble again.

Yeah have to agee. We have McEwen for second row. But we don’t have a lot of depth in forwards and really relying on a couple of young guys to step up.
 
Need a couple of signed props to step up, especially Mooney and Saulo along with Crouch, Hola and Hopwood then can put Frizell back in his 2nd row spot and McEwen on bench. Crossland at 13 but if 9 then Croker at 13. Thing our pack is stronger than 25 with a few developing further during season.
