In other news, Pezet has now embarrassed himself cucking via the media for a loan-to-buy deal... As of yet, there is zero interest.

If im Ricky Stuart I'm doing anything and everything to bring him to Canberra. That's one signing that would immediately take them to a higher level

It just shows that we dodged a bullet still i think, just wants to play behind stacked teams that he can hide in and not take the team and comp by the balls and do it all himself.

Braith should be banned from either being a manager or on tv though as he influencing too much with his little crew already

I saw one of the Red Hill mouthpieces in the press up there, can't remember if it was Meyn or Badel, was talking **** about Coby's long term prospects, saying he's too slow. They wouldn't talk **** about a kid in Broncos pathways without notarised sign off so the writing is on the wall for him.

Really sucks that they'd do him like that as it could have a flow on effect on his next landing spot.

Telegraph reporting that Pezet will sign with the Eels for 2026 before joining the Broncos in 2027.

Side note this should be the thing which ends the stupid contract rules we have. Signing two permanent playing contracts with two clubs in the same week. That's so stupid.

You never know if you don’t go for it, I feel the Knights have always been so submissive in the transfer market until recently with Brown (O’Sullivan). What’s the worst that will happen? He says no? Oh well.

Things don’t come to you, you have to go out and grab the chance.

Frustrating but no point worrying about it now.

At least with Pezet, he left a while ago now. We haven’t wasted time developing him in the last few & very important years pre regular NRL time.

Southwell well, sounds salty but she also sounds like she has a lot of maturing to do. Could all go south again during her time at Brisbane if all the reports about relationships are accurate.

Time to turn our attention to our big back yard and make sure we identify and keep our best kids.

Congratulations to Phil Gardner (and his amazing management team), who finalises his tenure with the two best halfbacks the region has produced in decades, signed to play for the Brisbane Broncos in 2027.

While Gardiner bears less responsibility for Jesse, still, who asked him to remove Ron Griffiths and install Ben Jeffries? Pretty sure nobody was asking for that.

He does however, bear almost complete responsibility for Jonah leaving, and at the end of the day, the result is ultimately the same. Southwell and Pezet will be playing in Brisbane in 27 not Newcastle.
