I grew up in Port Moresby PNG and while most of my mates were Parra, Bulldogs or Raiders fans, I decided to go for the Knights. Favourite player was Johnny Schuster, but also had a soft spot for Sam Stewart and our two PNG internationals Daeri Kovae and Arnold Krawanty.

Welcome aboard mate... I'm hearing you on Johnny Schuster, used to love standing behind the goal post just to watch his side step! To this day I don't think I've seen better feet (maybe Benji I guess lol)!
 
Introduce myself

Hey guys, I just thought I would introduce myself to you lads, I'm Josh and I play footy myself, for 8 years and I love the game and the Knights. I play five-eight, halfback, hooker mostly, even winger and fullback so I'm pre much classed as a utility. Cheers guys:)

Have stumbled across this site a few times now and thought I should sign up. Loved my Knights ever since I can remember.
Played against Jake Mamo since I was little on the Central Coast, the guy was always a freak. So good to see him in first grade now.

Anyway, I'm 20, from Gosford, Central Coast, and thanks for having me on-board.

Loved the knights ever since I can remember, I'm 19 from north coast New South Wales. Got a few cousins who play NRL Tyrone and Nikko Roberts, Amos and James Roberts, chris n caleb Binge.
Play footy for an all aboriginal team in nrth nsw called northern united. Play with former nrl players like Andrew Walker, Roy Bell And Richie Williams

Have been browsing here for a while and thought I would join the party. Have been to most home games this year (only missed the Storm game...typical), and even though it has been a tough season I have really enjoyed going.

I seem to have developed this massive admiration and motherly protectiveness for Tyrone so I thought I would come on here and be a positive voice for him. He frustrates the hell out of me but next season I hope he flourishes under Rick Stone and becomes the brilliant player he keeps threatening to be.

Thought I'd revive this thread with a post no one really cares to read. :P

My name's Ben, 26, from Sydney and been a Knights fan for as long as I can remember; though I can't really nail down when it all began. My guess is sometime around 97, ahh those were the glory years. I'm still a diehard fan and although my interest has waned over the years I'm genuinely excited about our future. I think we have a solid core of juniors who can bring this club back to its rightful place as one of the powerhouses of the league. I guess that's something we can thank Tinkler for...

I was a long time member of the other Knights forum (over on the dark side) but lost interest with that place due to all the bickering and snide remarks. On face value this place looks much more appreciative of each person's views, good or bad and discussions can take place without the need for ad hominem attacks. Anyway I'm excited to meet everyone here and hopefully found a place that I can call home!
