2025 Recruitment And Retention

Was good business for us and Barnett for him to move on. Same with DSaf hope he kills it as well.

Max Bradbury though? What Billy said above.
Funny thing is Kempy has been saying every pre season for a few years how he hasn't been impressed with Dsaf and how he thought he'd be a better player. Now we get rid of him, him and Guru acting like it'some shockingly bad decision.

Cheese is lazy, fat, one-dimensional and a massive tool.

Where do I sign?
As much as I love what he's done for the Kiwis at times (that said his lack of fitness also cost us a World Cup semi win over Australia), he's pretty much frittering his career away. Doesn't seem like the type of player we need here when so much so what we do is based on 100% effort.

His on $600k per season for 2 years, pretty funny if true as he took a $400k paycut for having a sook.
It's all a bit of a joke. The salary cap auditor is supposed to put a 'market value' price on him based on what the market was offering. Pretty sure the Dolphins were in for him much higher than $600k. Broncos then throw in a 'role after footy', and it's all sweet.

So Knight have salary cap pressure and don't have money in the cap, they tap a number of players on the shoulder.

Brisbane sign ben hut with bs contract, resign Ezra Mam, Piakura, Riki, Adam Reynolds, Smoothy, Tauau, Walsh, Walters and still have Haas, Carrigan, Stage and Cobbo

Yeah nothing to see hear from the cap audits. NRL is broken

We don’t have cap pressure.

It's a poorer reflection on the Dragons and Flanno that he didn't want to stay for $1m or a touch over it whatever it was.

It's a good deal for both parties but is anyone mad enough to give him as much (as in a new contract) at his age?

Credit to him for staying remarkably healthy though. 334 games at his age is impressive
