I only know from looking him up when he was mentioned the other day but now easily identifiable with the arm tats. That's Linnane in the pic Billy posted.
 
I don't think Greacen has ever done a firstgrade preseason.
The way he improved over the reserve grade season to be one of the best in the last few games reminds me of Brodie Jones.
Him and Tom Cant were about our best in the Flegg GF a few years ago and would be the same age.
If he thrives with the extra training he could be the surprise finding of the pre season.
 
So the squad I predicted in the first post 6 weeks ago.

12 Elijah S/L - yes
13 Tom Cant - must be with the firstgrade group

14 Jacob Davis - no
15 Paul Bryan - no - must be injured or something
16 Cody Hopwood - yes
17 Jack Hilliar yes
18 Wilson De Courcey - yes
19 Malachi Smith - yes
20 Haami Loza - yes
21 Brock Greacen - yes

Didn't pick Annan because I'd never heard of him 6 weeks ago and I should have picked Aoake, but didn't.
 
The article in the Herald says many of the firstgraders were doing a "self directed" training session. Names mentioned were Frizzel, Gamble, Pryce, Croker, Lucas and Ponga, but the article said they were "some of" the players training.
 
Probably lost some of the allure once his sister was moved on from the NRLW side. Not that upset - the thing that stood out most was his size and goal kicking but think Loza and Linnane both have him covered as playmakers for now.

Even I thought it was a stretch when I mentioned him earlier in the thread, but he was close to our best forward in the back half of reserve grade and still only 22 or 23 I think.
I thought it was Linnane in the photo, but no mullet threw me.
