2025 pre season thread

Players contracted in the top 30/top squad last year like Sua etc will start around 11th November as with first grade making semi last year all those players were still training and finishing up till about 2nd week of semis so still technically on their annual leave break

I’m sure 90% have still been at the Centre training, we just won’t see them in these pre season shots

Sg ball/Jersey Flegg have been back training for last month so maybe some young guns are doing that at moment instead

But would have been interesting to see maybe some train and trial guys from other clubs around in pics

Most top 30 showing in socials that they are hitting home gym or the field to do their own sessions even in off season.

This may put me offside with some traditionalists, but I’m a fan of this design.

I think vertical stripes will always be my favourite, but this would be in second.

Just as long as the Coal & Allied era jerseys never come back 😆
 
Rep duties finished for Crossland & Thompson so they’ll be back a bit sooner than Best. Should also mean the Thompson sweepstakes really heat up, unless they were already over before they officially started.

Still got the play-off for next year's Pacific Championships next week, NZ vs most likely PNG.
 
Was impressed with Cody's interview sounds intelligent and loves the job. Fingers crossed hes a great future player for the club
 
Two time Australian Schoolboy Cody Hopwood.
There have probably been a few Knights who have done that, but the only one who comes to mind is Jarrod Mullen.
 
Herald has put up 57 photos of todays training.
Big squad and I can't work out who half of them are.
Sua, Tyrone T, Jye Linnane, Votano, De Coucey, I think Aoake, one guy looks like Heath Gibbs, but probably isn't.
Herald doesn't like their photos shared unfortunately.
 
The album isn't loading for me but one of the ones in the article shows Elijah Salesa-Leaumoana front and centre in a group, so that's another confirmed face at training.
 
I think that's Arthur in that photo and this is Linnane - but they are hard to tell apart.
