i can understand why dom has left, but that gap will remain between us and the big city teams while they continue to exploit the cap and get away with it. reality Is we need someone like dom in our backline, a tall bloke with greasy fast speed who knows where the try line is.
Wouldn't be surprised if he went for less coin than we offered, like Watson did. As much as I like Newcastle through and through, while ever we are at the bottom of the comp we are going to struggle to attract top players unless we throw ridiculous money at them. Maybe I would do the same thing if I was in his position.

Watson has done nothing and been absolute sh*t for Roosters. Had the best year of his career with us a couple seasons ago and hasn't looked anywhere near as good since his move.
I agree, but it's the lure of the so called better clubs. Not many players would knock back the opportunity to play in the top clubs, paticularly if you're not a local.
