We got rid of a better performing player in Taia for Scott which just made no sense ... then Scott's performances got worse while he was here. One of Bennett's many blunders! Graham would be a brilliant signing though, just what we need.
Agree with yr thoughts, but I should have clarified; Matt Scott (when we were chasing him).

What was everyone's favorite.

His sabotage was up their for mine.

Getting everyone to believe that Sione was the next big thing and tricking us and Dogs into paying a gazillion dollars for him.
Him telling Cuthbertson to take the money and run in England.
Him Telling a media conference that we were a mess and it would take 5 years to fix us.
Getting Boyd out of his contract and us paying half of his first year at the Bronco's.

Or.

35 year old Gower who we signed when he had a bad neck.

Honestly it was like he was trying to see how bad he could run a place and not get sacked.

Sending Boyd on a mid-season Mediterranean cruise then allowing him to extort the Knights for 2016 salary was probably the highlight.

Packing Cuthbo's bags and driving him to the airport second.

I think it was the super dull game plan that was totally unsuited to the Knights. He turned us from a team that under Brian Smith loved to throw the ball around and was entertaining to watch to one out, afraid to offload, always take the two, "low percentage" football.

It was so alien to us, we made mistake after mistake, could build no pressure and were about as threatening as a pop gun. Plus was the most boring thing ever to watch.

Basically he tried to turn us into the Dragons 2009-11 and it was a dismal failure.

Graham, Bird and Ponga would be much better than I hoped for.
One, youngish, rep standard forward and we are done if we do actually get Graham and Bird.
The rest can come from improvements in our current squad and a few juniors stepping up next year.

I think there's room for another couple of mid range players for depth, but you couldn't expect much more than those three.

Still reckon it'll be a miracle if it happens though. Don't wanna get my hopes up!

Benny shunted him from the Saints, and continued the momentum when he got here.

I think he was right. Beau is playing for Wentworthville Magpies and has had no NRL contract for three years.

And on Luke Brooks this is from that usual suspect source ZeroTackle. Amazing if it is true as they were offering Moses $1 million a year before he walked.

Thanks member! The difference in the offer to both players seems ridiculous.

I thought the same with Bird when the rumblings began, but here we are now with a much better chance at getting him.

Henry was touted as the next big halfback, then he left Saints for us and lasted not even half a season before going to the Titans. Now he's playing for Wenty and only god knows how he's been playing. Thought he fell off the face of the earth for a moment there.

Great playmaker who couldn't defend at a senior level. One of the first games he played for the Knights was a trial against Fiji, and I reckon he got about 6 try assists. The Fijians had never seen quality playmaking before, and everything he tried worked.
If the guy could defend at all he would have been a star, but he was such a target in defence that everyone ran at him - even the other halves.
