Oh goodness Penrith... They have no real big names now? Lost all their star Juniors, Jennings, Lewis, Gordon, Pritchard etc
 
They've even lost Sandor Earl! But don't worry, David Simmons is still there.

Looking at their side, it is barren. Wooden spoon favourites for sure ... I think they'll avoid it, but they sure as hell won't make the eight.
 
I think they're going to have to withdraw from the comp if they dont get Thurston. Wtf are they thinking!
 
Nah no way that will happen, but if thursto doesnt go there I cant see any big names in the near future even considering a move out west

It's like they are hoping for a fairy tale season of no namers. I don't really think letting Jennings go was a bad idea, there is obviously bad blood there and has been for a while. Why keep someone if it's creating a negative attitude? Jennings was never going to be the difference between them making the 8 or not, I'd say they are saving there pennies for next season to make a big offer bid.

Yeah I think Wes will definitely be at fullback and Coote at 5/8

Still, what a horrible team. I feel sorry for their supporters. They're the new Sharks (and Knights) lol
 
Just confirmed by the Daily Telegraph....Lyon has asked for a release to join the Titans.

Buzz has just reported as well that lyon will quit manly today to sign a four yr deal with titans.

Bad new for Manly. I think their win record without Lyon is around 33%.

Luckily for Manly that about the same percentage as Buzz getting a story right! wait and see i guess
 
This is laughable, he is Manly's rock! He is obviously chasing the money to finish his career. My question is where on earth has GC found an extra 500k? I suppose the new salary cap... It's very strange though all the same.

Very odd indeed, he has just built a new house at Warriewood, and he is 31, if he has signed a 4 year deal, wow, I bet it is massively front ended.

Champion i believed they payed a fair bit. Scott prince was on a bit, Then cap rise...
