Cut and paste side, so we really don't know if Clydesdale or Pat Mataútia are any hope. It's a strong forward pack if Jackson Hill doesn't get suspended for getting sent off. If he does get suspended we will be missing our best forward, main playmaker and defender (Clydesdale) and our best back.

Stats are up.
James Elias made an incredible 47 tackles - more than double the next best Michael Steele on 23. Elias also topped metres run by a forward with 92 metres.
Tuha ran for 181 metres from fullback and scored 2 tries.

I reckon Elias will train with the top squad in next year's pre-season, Bennett seems to like those defensive backrower/centre utility types.

He's only 178cm and 85kg according to his bio. The guy is a tenacious little defender who reminds me of Bedsy in the way he is all over guys like a rash when he gets hold of them, but I can't see him making it as a forward.

Well we lost to the bottom placed side and our bench prop scored two tries and is now our top tryscorer for the year easily.
I'm over NYC. We have been crap for years.

NYC is turning into one big joke. It goes to players heads when the real players are playing in NSW Cup. I'd prefer to watch them before an NRL fixture.

Not sure about attitudes, but NYC averages 54 points a game this year.
Don't think that is preparing anyone for 1st grade, it's touch footy.

There are players in the squad who haven't played a game yet, why not give them a go, this would make some of the players attitudes change quickly. We may get a better result.

That's taking cut and paste to a new level - the exact some side named last week - not even the side that took the field last week.

They will be murdered by Penrith. If we lose by less than 50 it will be a good result.

Stats are up.
Elias topped the tackle count with 34 and Tapine must have been injured early to run only 24 metres and make 11 tackles.
Props had good stats.

Our props where good some silly mistakes by our boys but coaches need to look at how most the tries where scored on one side that was our weakest link.

Not a bad first half by us, get the feeling we'll be clinging on for dear life in the second, though.

Big changes to the side.
Mat Hay in for Lowe.
Rob Mason starting at prop, obviously told to defend his heart out because he has only had one run, while Pakua has had 15.
Roose to 5/8 and Elias not playing, replace in the second row by Hill and Steele - so two short guys under 100kg replaced by two monsters.
We are missing a heap of our best players, and seem to have gone for a big, defensive side. Probably damage control. We still lose, but not by hundreds.

Not bad score considering where they are on the ladder Pakau had a powerful game in the first half he dominated the field. Tuha always plays a good game he saved so many tries again. I think we had a good team today just missed to many tackles.

Looking at the stats mason made 17 tackles with no miss tackles Pakau made 16 with 1 miss not much difference there Mason had 5 runs and made 35 maters Pakau had 15 runs and made 118 meters ( the most on the field) a big difference there.

Pakau's numbers have been improving every week.
He started as a bench prop with not very impressive numbers, and this game he pulled off great numbers against the top team in the comp.
The other Kiwi, Tapine, started with great numbers in round one, and has been dropping every game.
Tuha could be a great player too. He looks really confident and makes lots of metres and scores lots of tries.
