i would say he'll go to the titans or esl but the way the Panthers are recruiting, i wouldn't rule them out the way they're recruiting even though they have denied interest

Gus has ruled it out. Apparent our cap is full! What a disgrace.
 
haha they get the sh*thole signings and then when someone with a little bit of talent comes along they don't sign him... and josh, flanaghan said they were interested but the ceo came out a few days later and said he was just trying not to be rude to carney..
 
He cant get a visa to play in england and catalans dont want him hes really reduced his options with his attitude and problems .I hope we dont sign him weve had enough problems and i would like to see us have 1 year drama free .Allthough: 1 Boyd 6 Carney 7 Mullen 9 Gidley does LOOK good but could be more trouble than its worth.

Yeah, living in Townsville, it was a big story up here especially the cowboys had a bad season, the board wanted him but the chairman Laurence Lancini didn't because he thought Wayne Bennett would have all the power and ontrol the club which he didn't want
 
Bennett tells that exact story in his autobiography, and says it was Peter Parr he was dealing with. That book came out three years ago.

Yeah I swear I remember reading about it and it rang a bell, just had no idea when. When I realise it was the bio, I remember back to when I read it at Borders a few years ago. Mystery solved!

Bulldogs... Noone cares lol.

The most realistic player at the moment that the Knights will recruit is Adam Cuthbertson, but that has been floating around for quite a long time. So far he isn't going to any club, so that boosts our chances of securing him.
 
hi guys if newcastle do get danny buderus for 2012 then what happens for 2013? either danny buderus will sign on for 1 more year or newcastle will go after andrew mccullough or matt ballin or another possibility is that ryan stig will move to fulltime halfback or newcastle go after luke walsh and kurt gidley will move to hooker although this option still requires newcastle to sign another hooker because of kurt gidley during the origin period wether he will play fulltime or will be a reserve. anyone else got any other info on newcastles new number 9 for 2012 and 2013?
 
The main guess that everyone has at the moment is Gidley starts at hooker next year, we sign Buderus & he starts off the bench to ease Gids into the fulltime role. Then in 2013 Gidley plays pretty much 80 minutes at hooker. That's just what most think though. Could be nowhere near to what will actually happen.

Then during Origin time, we could sign someone, but we have a wealth of talent to pick from out of Chris Adams, Chris Marlborough, Chad Redman, Chris Knight & Adam Clydesdale.
