3 english clubs are interested in adam cuthbertson one of them being leeds. 3 nrl clubs are also interested namely the knights, roosters and the eels. i think that leeds would of had to release danny buderus if they are trying to make a play for cuthbertson. i think that leeds are simply delaying the announcement until their super league season is over which will be a couple of weeks at least to avoid something like the dragons choking for example saturday nights game against brisbane. Also apparently Daine Laurie has been offered a 1 yr lifeline from newcastle but nothing has been signed yet.

Etu Uaisele --> Panthers (he confirmed it on twitter)

Far out! I thought we might have stopped signing the nufties. What a disgrace. I just don't understand how we can lose Trent Waterhouse and Petero Civoniceva and still not have enough room to make a play at someone decent. Either the management hasn't changed at all since Gould came in or Mick Leary royally screwed up our salary cap.

Actually i quite like Etu Uaisele, he is a decent young player he just needs a good go.
Same as what I was thinking. Can put a decent shot on & is pretty quick, can finish a try off just like any other winger in the comp. I think he'd be a pretty solid depth signing.

Your coach is the key signing. We may see some players over the next few years really develop. Lol @ the DT completely backflipping on their initial criticism on the appointment of Cleary just because it's Gus. What a pathetic bunch of journalists with agendas. You'll never hear them admit they were wrong!

Knights assistant coach Craig Sandercock appointed head coach of Hull KR for 2 years.

Good to get some experience.

That's great to hear he got a job as a head coach! I thought him & Dunemann were just gonna disappear into the wilderness!

Thank you for the "in the scheme of things" clarification ... 28 is very young indeed haha.

You've still got five years of football left at that age though, and players do develop at different ages. I've never seen the guy play, but I wouldn't write him off solely on age. Which you aren't, but yes.

28 = young. :lol:

Good Signing for Storm, and that's not sarcasm Shea is seriously a top player and can't wait to see what Bellamy does with him, obviously with the wingers they have he won't get many games but still best place for the winger to go :).

Yeah he still has potentially five years of football left in him and age is really no barrier any more, you just have to look at Petero or Mad Dog.

The main cause of concern for me is the fact that he has been trying to crack First Grade for the last 5 years at the Eels and many supporters have had high hopes of him. He finally makes his debut, plays a few pretty poor games and goes back to where he belongs, reserve grade. He is just one of those players that will never make it. Good signing for the Windsor Wolves though I guess.

Also just to clarify, I have nothing against mature aged rookies, I have a few hanging around Penrith who I am keen to see have a run. Ryan Walker was one of them and was stoked when he got the call-up. Just need Brendon Gibb to be given the chance and then I'll be a happy man.

Also just on the rumours front, there is one going around that Phil Gould has approached one of the Knights NYC players from this season and is chasing him. He is the prop and was named player of the season? He sees a fair bit in him and wants to get him to Penrith. Good young player?

^ This.

He has been exceptional this season, would be devastating to lose a good up and comer, considering our depth will be thin.
