Watson is best at 14. Let Sue take the early contact.
I think the coach may name Watson at 13 though.
I'd say so but our best starts have been when sue starts and watto comes on. I think it's the way we need to go. Hopefully they are fit enough mentally.

If we go with all fit and pick our coaches best 17 which includes Mann it will be interesting to see the ext bench with Randall now out, thinking
18 Crossland
19 Momoisea
20 Saulo
21 Sasagi
Crossland and Sasagi to cover 1-7 with possibly more than one positional change
Saulo and Momoisea predominately covering Klem, DSaf and Sue with injury doubts
Cant afford to go into these games with a injury doubt, all fit is best way

Ponga
Tuala
Mann
Best
Hunt
Clifford
Pearce
Saf
Brailey
Saf
Frizz
Barnett
Watson

Sue

King
Jones

Crossland

ennis is starting to **** me off, never really says anything positive about us at all….

The whole fox team except for Smith and Cronk are a pack of wunkers for mine.

And yes including Vossy.

I don't watch their footy show's so only commenting on the commentary teams.

1. Kalyn Ponga
2. Edrick Lee
3. Enari Tuala
4. Bradman Best
5. Hymel Hunt
6. Kurt Mann
7. Mitchell Pearce (c)
8. David Klemmer
9. Chris Randall
10. Daniel Saifiti
11. Lachlan Fitzgibbon
12. Mitch Barnett
13. Herman Ese'ese

14. Aidan Guerra
15. Jacob Saifiti
16. Sione Mata'utia
17. Tex Hoy

This was the team that took the field in this same game last year. Just thought it was fun to compare.

A couple of big ins with Brailey, Clifford, Frizell. Everyone else (King, Watson, Sue, Jones) about on par.

Roche is my least favourite commentator, with Ennis very close.
Both think they are being paid to say something insightful, and both just end up babbling nonsense because they aren't smart enough to deliver really insightful comments like Andrew Johns or Billy Slater. It's just sad and annoying.
But they aren't the worst at it. Jamie Soward commentating on reserve grade is just pitiful. Some of the stuff he comes out with is just obviously the equivalent of click bait - meant to create controversy with complete rubbish.

It’s worrying the team (AOB, Pearce and Ponga’s presser today) are “confident” and they disregard the performance against the Broncos.

The comments around “we are yet to play our best football”, well I think we will still be waiting after this game to see it….

The only alternative to being confident and planning to give it your best shot is to NOT be confident and giving up as far as I can see.
I suppose the good thing about pessimism is that you are never disappointed.

Do you want them to say they are concerned & nervous?
No but I would expect them to acknowledge that they have to work hard this week to fix up areas of their game so they are a chance of beating the Eels.

If the Eels end up smashing us, I would be questioning where all this “confidence” was coming from.

I was hoping for Barnett to play in the middle to come out of the line like he has, especially at Nathan brown with their past history I reckon if Barnett played his cards right brown could lose his head.
