Knights possible targets for 2020

Jamayne Isako and James Robberts are being dropped this week to reserve grade.
If Isako gets let go I'd be happy if the Knights have a bid for him. Good young winger who can kick goals.

I read he got dropped to play fullback. Could be a sign that they’re getting him prepped to take over Boyd’s spot sooner rather then later which would mean next to no chance he’d come here to play wing.

So why not swap him in through games with Boyd? Going to reserve grade to "learn" won't help. He is a winger who currently does what most fullbacks do other then organise. You can learn that on the run. Especially with someone like darbs who has done it for so long.

Boyd just misses his dad.
He should take himself off to sit on a Yacht in France till someone gives him a million dollars to make him feel better, then join his dad on Greg Inglis's money.

Don't we have umpteen million backs we'll be bringing through in the next 2-3 years and SKD for another year if not 3 and Edrick indefinately?

Waste of money.

Isakko’s goal kicking makes him a very attractive option, and regarding the youngsters coming through as we’ve found out the hard way a few times, promising juniors don’t always make great NRL players.

Can’t say I’ve seen enough of the juniors coming through to make an educated call on whether or not they’ll make it, but from what I hear Best and Toa are the pick of the bunch?

Best was sensational in his first game of seniors on the weekend.
He only played the first 40 minutes, but made 74 metres with 36 post contact. He was pushing around 3 and 4 defenders in his first runs against senior players. He'll be unstoppable when he grows up. Not sure when his birthday is, but he is 17/18 this year.
Two years ago he was winning us an under 16s title at about this time of year.
Just under a year ago, he teamed up in the centres with a guy who was a year older named Bronson Xerri, and the two of them were the standouts for NSW under 18s.

I’ll be pissed if Inglis’ remainder salary won’t count towards the cap...Not surprised many clubs are against it. And as one club official said there are about 3-5 players that clubs would ‘retire’ immediately if it were allowed.

Bet your bottom dollar Seibold would try to do the same with Boyd and the Dogs with Foran tommorow if they can get away with it.

Do you see Best coming into grade as a left centre?? From the limited amount of him I've seen that's where I see him

He could end up anywhere from wing to prop, depending on how much he grows over the next few years, but where ever he plays, I wouldn't like to be the guy standing between him and the try line.

I know its a long shot and correct me if im wrong but does Jarred Mullens ban end next year?
If he mentally ready for a return we could sign him on cheap contract for 1 or 2 years, playing with Pearce, a lefty kicker and playing behind a decent forward pack I reckon we be finals for sure.
I think he still fit i saw him with his girlfriend at Wollongong beach last year and he's looking ripped still.

We could certainly do worse having him back in the squad, always had a glimmer of hope he'd make a comeback. Would be a longshot though I reckon.

A year or two for Catalans in France would be the best thing for Mullen - just football - no baggage to live down.
