Confirmed: Knights sign Beau Scott for 4 years

I don't know if it has been mentioned in previous posts, but does anyone think he has been signed to replace Tahu?

Unless i'm mistaken Scott plays on the right so doubtful. More likely to replace S'au or Wes if he plays centres.

Tahu signed on for 2 years & Wes signed on for 3 years, so they won't be leaving after this year. And if you're talking about retirement, i doubt those 2 would have signed for 2 & 3 years if they thought they would be close to retiring after 1 year.

I'm very happy with this signing! Up there with one of our best ever and certainly as good if not better than anything we have in the backrow imo!

He's only 25 too not 28 :-)

He is actually 27, turns 28 in May.

I wouldn't be surprised if Scott is released early.

Reading all the posts on the Dragons forum, i wouldn't be surprised if he gets released because of pressure from the fans.

If he gets released early, do we get him? Or is he just in limbo until his contract with us activates?

Along as he hasn't been signed as a centre I'm happy ... If thts the case we wont see uate one on one with his man all yr ..

I hope he doesn't play centres too, he is a great backrower, showed it in Origin 2011 & our centres are way better than him.

The Dragons wont release him early and I don't think Beau would want to leave on bad terms with the club by just walking out.

I've read heaps of people say how we're stealing Dragons players etc newsflash they are off contract, it's fair game!

^Annoys the sh*t out of me. I was reading comments on articles and they're all like complaining about how we poached 7 dragons players including Naiqama & Houston etc and FFS we signed them like how many years ago?!

Doubtful Scott will play centre anyway, but it's not the first time a player has been let go before their contract is finished.

Speaking of the coaches clause if anyone has one it would be boyd, if bennett leaves earlier then expected to you boyd would follow

All i can say is, theres a reason why Wayne Bennets arguably the best coach in the NRL if not to world, with 7 premierships to his names, and most of us on here are not...
Im sure Wayne knows what he is doing.

Thought he played his best game this year against us tonight.

Has errors in his game and penalties, but he is a good player with great strength.

Watched both the Dragons v Sharks and now tonight, I hope Pricey realises that he gets a lot less out of Beau playing in the centres and that he will stick to him in the backrow. Shame he couldn't "give him another chance in the centres" though heh.

Didn't do himself any favours with Knights fans or players by pushing McManus back to the ground when he got angry for conceding a penalty.

He tackled McManus, the ref blew his whistle, then he got up, yelled at the ref, pushed McManus back to the ground when he was on his knees getting back up & walked off fuming. We need aggression, but not ****head type aggresion like that.

I guess i'm just angry coz it was Jim, probably wouldn't care if it was another team.

I did see that and I did think that was extremely douchey.... but most importantly Josh your signature is freaking me out, its like Joels hands have baby hands of their own lol.
