Mate I reckon thats a fair side, i totally forgot about young Aidan Tolman im not sure whether his form has been as good as early on in the season but he'd probably be better then Jason King. Just unsure on Kade Snowden its either going to be him or his team mate Luke Douglas, i just think Douglas has been more consistent.
Michael Jennings on the wing wouldn't work though, he all but s**t himself when they selected him on the wing for city.. Even though Jared Hayne has had a few shockers i still think we can get some value out of him aslong as he gets into dummy half and gives the forwards a break early on in the sets simliar to Uate and Vuna for Newcastle. Plus that would mean the Morris boys would be playing out of position and I think its vital Brett Morris stays on his right wing to combat Israel Folau under the high ball.
Id love to find a spot for Heighington aswell but i think having Luke Lewis in the run on side with his footwork and then Farah's impact towards the end of the game would be awesome.
Still can't see how we can win game three but at least its a side that can be competitive next season.

Am I the only one here that would much prefer to see Uate stay loyal to Fiji?
FFS, get it through your thick skull that Uate plays for Fiji and can't play for NSW for another 2 years!!!

I would rather see Uate stay loyal for Fiji aswell, and more importantly us in the Origin round :razz:.

even though I would love for NSW to get back in the winners circle I do not want to see Uate play for Fiji, and I want to see more international RL.
We talk about wanting to inject more cash into the game but then we want players to forfeit their Country to play Origin.
If Akuila wanted to play for NSW he would have made himself eligible, but obviously he wants to play for his countr of ORIGIN give it up NSW selectors you are the lost cause
Tolman seems to be getting back to his best every game after his injury. Would be better if he was starting for the storm tho, but i think he'll do good things at the dogs next year., and could make a great impact prop off the bench at origin level. Kade Snowden i personally rate above Douglas, both they have both been as good as each other, and if the selectors started doing the smart thing and picking players off form, i see no reason both cant be in there, as they are NSW's 2 best props.
I know Jennings wouldnt work the best on the wing, and would prefer him at right centre, but i really rate Scott, he is one of the best defending centres in the game and has attacking flair about him. And there is no better player to mark and shut down Inglis, which is vital in order to wing. I still want Jennings on the team so thats the best position i can fit him. The problem is, apart from Morris, they really isnt any good wingers to pick from that are eligible, barring maybe Michael Gordon. And Hayne is far to big a liability on the wing, especially on the right. He should never play Origin win again, which is why i have dropped him. he is overrated anyway.
And the Morris brothers wouldnt be out of position in my team. Brett plays Left wing for the Dragons, and Josh plays left centre for Dogs, and thats where i have them in my team, the position they play.
I put Heighington in there, as he has been one of the best SR all year and really deserves his shot. Plus i would prefer him playing for the blues then England.
I dont think we should be playing a hooker for 40 mins, and really Ennis doesnt deserve to be there, he has been sh*t every game and the real reason he was there in Kimmorley is gone. Farah should be Hooker, and if he is should be playing for the 80 mins.
I may have put Lewis at lock for Bird to the bench, but i thiink Bird needs to start, and i dont like Lewis at second row whatsoever. Plus he makes the great utility impact player, second only to Gids really.
So with Gids, Campese, Pearce, Farah, Bird + plus Lewis, Tolman and Watmough on the bench i believe we have plenty of impact both at the start of the game and off the bench.
If the forwards go foward and make the metres, the halves are on song and using both the left and right edge, players are holding onto the ball, and players are pushing up on Lockyer and Thurston when there kicking to add the pressure, i can see us having a close 4-6 point win and then taking the series 2-1 next year if we pick this team.

Um ok, that wasn't necessary, with the article saying that they are trying to get Uate for game 3 i thought saying "Uate(if accepted)" really wouldn't matter.

But how many times do we have to say it, they aren't going to change international elligability rules overnight just so Uate can play?!?!
If you did read the article you would have seen Carr saying neither Moi Moi or Uate can play?!
Put some thought into your posts, or do a bit of basic research.

Well James, it actually says "Carr said he was almost certain the ARL board would not approve the selection of either player", so IMO there is still hope. Very slim chances but there is still hope
...I am a very optimistic person. Lol.I know that Carr said "I've checked it out and NSW couldn't pick them because Fuifui played for New Zealand in the Four Nations last year and Uate played for Fiji in the Pacific Cup," But it still has to get approved/disapproved from the ARL board.
So if he said there is no chance of them playing, I obviously wouldn't of said Uate in the side. So I obviously read it...so abit of basic research or thought into your post maybe?

They have changed or ignored eligibility laws before. They let Adrian Lam and Tonie Carroll both play for QLD after playing test games for their respective countries, and they continue to let Inglis play for QLD even tho he played his first senior footy in NSW and should be playing for NSW.
Has happened before, can happen again.
Not that im saying it will or should happen.
Moi Moi isnt even worthy of selection when you really look at the potential you can pick.
The whole idea of players giving up their country pride for origin is a joke, you should be able to play for your country and still support your state in origin.
Hayne should not be playing for Australia, it is a joke to think you can be of one heritage, and not be playing for them.
I really hope Uate does not give up his Fijian spot to play for origin, but he is exactly what nsw need, stop putting fb's on the right wing!

It doesn't matter if it's approved by the ARL or not, it would need to be approved by the RLIF, and that simply wouldn't happen.
Tonie Carroll played for NZ in 2000 and Queensland in 2004, he easily completed the two year stand-down.
Lam was in the middle of the Superleague war, before these rules were in place.
Inglis is an internal ARL matter, I've got no idea what's going on there.
And agreed, there are better players that NSW could pick than Moi Moi. He couldn't even make the NZ side for the mid-year test.
Basically, the ARL stuffed up. They ruled Inglis was eligible for Qld based on him playing his first senior football for Wavell High (in Brisbane) but failed to discover he actually played earlier (but still as a 16yo) for Hunter Sports High in Newcastle. However by the time they discovered this he had already played for Qld, and there is no option within the rules for players to change to the other State after representing one.
Doesn't matter, NSW selectors are a bunch of racist c**** and never would have selected him anyway.
