WTF? Still the forgotten team?

Angelus

Cory Denniss
On Friday night's footy they played a compilation called " The Year In League ". Only glimpses of the Knights were being overrun on the try line (sometimes by teams we beat) and one solitary image at the end of Tyrone celebrating a try. We're 5th on the ladder and teams in the bottom four got more coverage. Is anyone else as frustrated as I am about this. What do we have to do to get noticed???

Its been happening for quite a while (since Johns retired).. we rarely feature in CH9 highlight packages/promotions..

Yep it annoys the bloody hell out of me :fist: We never get no love anytime or anywhere. Even the footy show and that ****s me too. How hard is it to show 16 teams?

Beat Melbourne,Souths,Manly or Easts and people will notice.

The Roosters look good but they haven't beat anyone special yet! The Raiders beat them and the Warriors almost did too so I'd say we'd have a chance.

When at full strength and at our best we'll compete well against the other 3 ;)

Last night Gould said he was amazed by how far ahead the top 4 teams were from the rest of the ladder, and I'm sitting here thinking, we're 5th and tied on points with Roosters and Manly, and only 10 p/d behind Manly...

They are definitely way more ahead in terms of standard of quality and the big occasion games though. We're lucky to be 5th in all honesty, we've played some inconsistent football and have just been picking up the scrappy two points here and there.

As for the highlights package, I seen it too and it was a disgrace, the Sharks didn't get seen either. It's awful, how hard is it to put 16 teams in a highlights package?

Apparently it's very hard for channel 9....

I wouldn't say Roosters are way ahead, they've only stomp low teams, barely got by some low teams, and got thumped by the bunnies (pretty much the only top team they have vsed)

We definitely need consistency - it's something Bennett has been talking about since last year. If we can find that rhythm
And get back to full strength, I think we have a good chance of competing. I just finished watching the Raiders take down the Storm, so it can be done!

And on Monday night with Marty johns they didn't even mention our win over the titans. They went into preview it but got side tracked talking about the ladder and didn't stay on it at all

History says as soon as we're a good thing we falter. Make them think they have something to prove and we just might prove it

Canberra have a much better record against the top sides than we do. Apart from our win over an injury ravaged Manly last year, it's been years since we've beaten the likes of Melbourne or Manly.

Even if we do find consistency, we've still got a way to go until we can compete with the top sides.

But if we find consistency week after week and it becomes a habit like the teams that regularly make top four, we can focus on the finer points of our game. Personally, I think our lack of consistency and a losing mentality has been our biggest problem for years.

You are aware this is pretty much the definition of consistency lol
