Who will win the NRL 100m sprint challenge

He was close to last I didn't see who actually came last but it was the best part of the whole thing to see Inglis struggling like a lump

i was like the soccer play come last (in the outside lane)

But then noticed on the replay inglis was in red, and wasnt even in frame at the finish. He had a pretty shocking running style, but to be fair, he'd never run in spikes or off blocks before, and its a whole different running environment in lanes too. However, it looked like he either ran outa puff, or stopped trying halfway through.

I missed it, did he come last?

Yeah he came dead last. After the first 10-20 metres he was never in it. From that point on, everyone was just pulling away easily. When everyone finished he wasn't even in the screen. Pretty funny stuff, but in saying that, I'm not the biggest Inglis fan. Looked like he was carrying some extra weight too, but that's probably because he was running in a singlet and his physical shape was more noticeable. If I was Ivan Henjack though, I'd make him shed a good 5kg's in the off-season. He's carrying too much weight up top IMO.

That race was a joke. If they wanted it to be a true FASTEST MAN IN LEAGUE, then they should've had only NRL players in it & have the fastest man from each 16 clubs at a time when all players are available. That race was a joke because it had big name players like Hayne & Inglis in it, but left out some of the fastest in the game.

Really ridiculous that Uate isn't racing. What i've heard is they want the well known players to be in in. And to be honest, Nathan Gardner more know that Uate?

Ehh, call me bias but its bulls balls. i think the top five fastest arn't even in the race - Uate, Naiqama, Gordon, Dury Low etc. But you wouldn't want someone who is 'unknown' to be the fastest man in league now would you media?

I hope Turner wins it, Can't stand how Hayne and Inglis get all this attention for this... they will flop.

Being well known had nothing to do with it, Josh Morris for example, not that big a name in the game at this point. I heard Uate was out because of another commitment.

The race was a joke, for the simple fact they had 3 players from other codes in it, I thought it was the fastest man in league? oh well. i wasted 5 minutes of my night watching that crap

Uate is in the pm XIII, he couldn't run it.

Finals contenders couldn't run it, at the risk of injury.

Turner was always going to win it

Can you please cool your pants?

It was a promotional thing to go with a charity event... no point getting upset about it!

Don't watch it then, it's just a bit of fun ffs.

Hayne's speed was pretty impressive! Considering when he's on the football park he runs like his legs are about half a metre in front of the rest of his body.

11.2 seconds is a good time ... if anyone from the NRL could beat that, it wouldn't be by much.

Inglis totally gave up ... wouldn't read anything much into that. Good of him and all the other players to take part though!!!

If they had the race on grass with a footy in their hands Inglis would have won it.

I'd back Hayne, partly because of lastnight's efforts and partly because when he makes a break, he constantly runs away from defenders. Inglis has great football speed though. Clearly track and field's just not his strong suit.

That's exactly the same with me. On a straight track, i'm no good compared to other guys my age, but on the footy field, when i've got a footy in my hand i'm lightning.
