Lachlan Turner – Rugby Union, NSW Waratahs
Matt Lewis – A League,Central Coast Mariners
Courtenay Dempsey – AFL, Essendon
 
You lot all mocked me when I said no players from teams that were in the finals would be involved ... apology???
 
Really ridiculous that Uate isn't racing. What i've heard is they want the well known players to be in in. And to be honest, Nathan Gardner more know that Uate?

Ehh, call me bias but its bulls balls. i think the top five fastest arn't even in the race - Uate, Naiqama, Gordon, Dury Low etc. But you wouldn't want someone who is 'unknown' to be the fastest man in league now would you media?

I hope Turner wins it, Can't stand how Hayne and Inglis get all this attention for this... they will flop.

The NRL needs their fastest racing, Uate is faster than all of those NRL players competing, so is Gordon!

to be fair, Hayne and Inglis are pretty damn quick over 100m. They might not appear to be as quick on the footy field, but their long strides will give them a massive advantage in a 100m sprint.

Umm, Uate might be in camp for PM's team already?
 
There's some random guy named John Grant competing in the race. He plays for some RU club.

He can run the 100m in 10.89 apparently
 
11.10 was Turners winning time..thats not that quick, and im sure there are half a dozen guys in league that could beat that.

Uate ran a 10.9 as a 17 year old.
