Let's be realistic and not bias, as we'd all love him to be at the Knights.

All signs point to the Knights atm. Wouldn't be surprised if he went back to the Broncos though.
 
well lets look at the evidence for the knights.
he gave nev and beau the steer,
talked with tinkler,
now that column hot off the press u posted alicia,
that column how he would never live in sydney,he said when he left the broncs his time as broncs coach is over, but not coaching,
and i dunno if u can listen to the column they had in the tele about pros and cons of where he would go, we looked like his prefered choice, not much media by the beach, a bit closer to his family in qld, yes im biase! but it is looking good.
 
Well, he wouldn't be caught dead in a Souff$ shirt, they are continuously the under achievers of the NRL despite having allegedly one of the best teams on paper. There would be to much hard work trying to fix the depth and get rid of the ego's in that side, not to mention a lot of media speculation with him going to Souff$.

Despite all signs pointing to the Knights, I honestly don't think it will happen. He will be back to Brisbane!
 
i cant think of anything that would make me happier then to have bennett at the knights but tbh i am just not that lucky i think maybe brisbane
 
If Tinkler is willing to offer him 1.5-2 million per year then why wouldnt he come to the knights
 
Wishful thinking he comes and coaches us but I still honestly won't believe it till I see it. I don't think he'll go to a new club if he doesnt come to Newy so if it's not us it'll be back to his beloved Broncos.
 
I think we can rule out Saints, If it was about loyalty and him wanting to stay there he would of signed already. I think it is a toss of a coin between us and Brisbane, There is a very talented young playing group at Bris, which I think need at least 2 years to win a premireship, but he is back at home. I think with us, we are not to far off winning a premireship, most of our playing group have been together for a good 3 years now and is really starting to show, and I think he would get max dollars if he signs with us, which is enticing considering he will be looking at retirement in the near future.

id love to see one of our former players running messages on the field next year as a trainer or something! couldnt get over how many times i seen trevor gilmiester and freddy kruger (alfie langer) on the field last night! must be a QLD tactic haha

I just have that feeling he'll be heading home to Brisbane..but he is after that third premiership at a different club so there is every possibility he'll be coming to the Knights
 
Yep, I think he wants the premiership at three clubs. And we are the most cashed up, we're not in Sydney and he won't coach another Queensland side.

St George were chokers for 30 odd years aswell, why would he want to go there ??? Within 2 years they were Premiers.

I will still say Souths.
 
Heart says Newcastle, head says Brisbane, but somethings telling me hes gonna suprise everyone and go to souths? But i really hope her comes to Newcastle :D
