Warriors fullback Wade McKinnon has failed to have his spitting charge overturned at the NRL judiciary tonight, and is facing up to nine weeks out of the game.
McKinnon was accused of spitting at touch judge Brett Suttor during New Zealand's 42-20 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
His defence claimed there was no intent in his spit, but failed to convince the NRL judiciary.
The duration of his suspension is yet to be determined.
Earlier, Knights utility Matt Hilder was cleared of his spitting charge and is free to face the Broncos on Friday night.
More to come...

Pretty obvious call, really. Hope he doesn't get too long, though.
The length of his suspension is determined tonight right?
Do they have footage though or is it just Suttor saying it? I mean I doubt an official would lie but footage would be handy!
1 Week & I would be happy.
I really like Wade as a player but he does have that grubiness or brain explosions you could say in his game.
Yeah, there is footage of him spitting right at him! You haven't seen it?
Yeah haha he launches a huge golly right at the touch judge.Do they have footage though or is it just Suttor saying it? I mean I doubt an official would lie but footage would be handy!
He got 3 matches, thats enough.
