Vegas 2026

The dog's were on our flight to LA last night. They're a big / imposing side compared to the Knights. We'll do well to match them physically this year.
 
Boys are down here at the airport, the players are getting the gold treatment from NRL and flying business class so should be over there well rested unlike rest of us crammed into the back of the plane.

I know he prob won’t be ready but wish Cody Hopwood could play as he is a big fella for being so young, can only imagine if he gets another 5kg of muscle or just naturally grows into his body how good he will be.

Cody Hopwood could be our next “Chief”.
 
All the boys and main coaches apart from Marcus Dacre and support staff were in business class for the flight to LA so should have been lining it up and relaxed for the flight
We got into LA at 1pm and They had a 4hr layover at LA before getting to Vegas around 6-7pm so a full 24hrs travel but over a week to play so shouldn’t be any issues

A few days of training before all the media type stuff so let’s hope the next few days are made to count and they are ready to rip in on game day.

Wasnt The nrl chartering direct flights for fans to vegas with their packages? Surely the players should get that also .

I’m the same as you, I walked past Israel Folau at the shops and the bloke looked like a giant despite being 6’6 or 5

The dumbest thing about how the NRL is trying to promote the game over there is the “no helmets, no pads” thing. Americans famously love it when you put **** on stuff they like.

Hey you know American football? That sport where the championship game gets more viewers every year than the moon landing? Yeah that actually sucks and everyone who plays it is a pussy. I bet you’re very keen to hear what I have to say next!
 
Yet they’re selling helmets with the logos of the teams playing.

Are they expecting a big crowd today? I get the feeling the juice is running out of this experiment and it’ll be done once the contract ends (two more years?). Just seems to be existing fans travelling to the game at this stage.

I’m sure those who have gone will have a blast though!
