i see Mason Teague has been named at hooker for Cook Islands.
He played a few games as starting hooker in reserve grade, but moved to lock after 20 minutes and didn't go back to hooker - so only used for his strong defence in the opening minutes.

I agree that Moses is made for rep level, but in fairness, Cleary was actually very good for Australia in the 2022 RLWC.

Tests often provide very different challenges to Origin - DCE had a great Origin career but was arguably the worst Kangaroos halfback of all time.

Pretty silly if you ask me to put out our predicted team list now without Sandon Smith. Your better off waiting till he is confirmed as he will definitely be in the starting 17 and more than likely the most important position at 7.

Saulo yes, if he’s ready to go? I hope Hopwood can slowly come into the side throughout the year for injury cover. He’s still only 19. So I don’t know he’s quite ready yet. I have not seen Crouch or Hota play so can’t say.
