Aus side named tomorrow. Rumour has it Johnson will be dropped.

Can either side take 20 wickets?

Curator said it's going to be a batters paradise... however the weather might change that.
 
i think johnson needs a break bring in bollinger, drop North and bring in smith, North is the most overated player in ages. other then that the team is good ponting looked good second innings first test, no matter what the papers say or coaches Clarke is injured his back is playing with his head.
 
Australia to win, Ponting to have a big game with both bat and in the field. It will be tough for the Aussies, especially if it is a batting wicket, but I have faith in the boys, especially if Dougy is in.

We can only pray johnson will go

This test will end in a draw IMO. I think the ashes may not be decided until the 5th day in Syd. Perth is know known to hold up over 5 days, same as MCG. Sydney is the only one that breaks up anymore.
 
Ponting has confirmed Johnson has been dropped.

Bollinger/Harris to replace.

I'm guessing they may go Harris as he is abit more handy with the bat.

I heard Bollinger and Harris are both in the starting 11, apparently Harris is supposed to be replacing Hilfenhaus but might not be depending on his injury.

And good to see Watson making up for the runout. At least one of these guys needs to kick on to make a 100 to get Australia back even. Cause the outfield looks super quick, plenty of runs.

My whinge for the day:

* Ponting's captaincy..
* Clarke continuing to play not at 100%..
* North is still in the side..
* Currently our 2nd best batsman is a wicketkeeper..
* Watson cannot turn his 50's into 100's..
* Watson & Katich failing to sort out their problems "running between the wickets" which resulted in yet another run out.

This series is going to get very ugly im afraid.
 
Unlucky to Hussey, to think they were going to drop him, things could of got real ugly if he was dropped. Hopefully Haddin can go on to make a century, he is playing some wonderful strokes.
