I think the lack of Scott and Smith is hurting us.

Anyone else under the impression Mullo was playing hurt even from the start against the sharks? Wasn't himself.
 
I reckon we'll either get smashed by 30 or grind out a narrow win. I don't think we have a big win in us at the moment.

Without Mullen I'm a little worried, hopefully we play a bit smarter then last weekend and get the win.

Overall our record at canberra has been poor with only 3 wins, funny enough we have won there the last 2 years.

We have actually had 4 wins in Canberra :)

Round 8 2001 Knights defeated Canberra 22-20

Round 2 2006 Knights defeated Canberra 70-32

Round 7 2011 Knights defeated Canberra 22-12

Round 21 2012 Knights defeated Canberra 36-6
 
Gidley will now be trying to direct the team around and be in everything if Mullen is out.

Getting good field position will be an issue too without a good long kicker.

I think against Canberra it's not that big of an issue as they're not grinders. They'll throw the ball around and I think Canberra will decide the outcome of the game depending on who turns up. If the team that beat Melbourne turn up there isn't much we can do. If normal Raiders turn up we just have to go through the motions and throw it to our outside backs in their 20.

Building pressure would be nice, but a long kicking game probably won't affect us detrimentally here as it would against teams like the Dogs, Melbourne, Souths and Dragons.
 
Roberts will have to step up with Mullen gone! Hope we see that happen.... PRAYING that Gidz and Roberts have a solid kicking game....
 
If he doesn't we're stuffed. Roberts's inability to kick, pass & tackle will be so much more noticeably without Mullen there.
 
We will get dominated in the kicking department I think. Our forwards need to be running riot over theirs early in the game and tire them out. We need a good start and Roberts and Gidley will need to bring their kicking boots.
 
Oh gee, I've even been able to talk the missus into comin to the game with me with the kids....on mothers day too! I hope a miracle can happen and the boys get a win.
Won't be holding my breath....
