If that has any truth to it, then he should definitely step down. We're losing games with him at the helm, if Rick Stone is given the chance, he may be able bring some of that passion that has been missing for so long.

At what point should BS be out there scouting for talent for his chooks? He shouldn't be doing it on Newcastle Knights time. He did say he won't have any ill feeling if he was sacked now. Does this man want to win a premiership ever?

I just hope the boys find something deep within themselves in the next 4 rounds that will re-ignite their winning ways. Or it's season over and plan for Mad Monday. :brickwall:

I still think this is our greatest issue.

From my count, the only time we made the Parramatta 20 in the first half hour, at least, was when we scored through Simpson.

Not enough metres = no attacking chances = lots of defence on our own line = getting tired quickly = giving away more penalties = big scorelines against us.

We can turn it around at home, we just have to play like we did in the second half against the Roosters!

I'm not giving up on the season or the players or Smith just yet ...

The players have plenty of pride, even Harragon and Johns were in sides that got flogged, you know!

I said the same thing to Dave, we looked tres small and weak and well... pathetic. There was a 6 minute chance in the second half where we were playing well, throwing the ball around a bit fancy like the old days (10 weeks ago lol) and making lots of metres maybe it was the half time talk or whatever but then that game plan went out the window and it went back to pathetic. WTF man!!!!!! :brickwall:
This is so shocking, I'm sorry but BS should have gone the day he announced he was leaving. How often recently does the coach announce he's leaving before the season ends and then have it end well? :fist: The boys say he's got nothing to do with it well what else could possibly be happening in those heads of yours?? :brickwall:
 
I knew we were in trouble when even Kurt, who is an energizer bunny, was so slow to get to the bouncing ball that lead to the Inu try.

They did look weak and disinterested....so disappointing :cry::cry:
 
We just don't look the same team we did a month ago. Where has the passion gone? BS can't be the sole reason for the collapse.
 
Joey was in the sheds at half time getting the NYC boys fired up and they went on to win :think:

Maybe its what the FG team needs now.
 
Also, whats with backs hiiting it up on 3rd and 4th tackle? what are the forwards doing? I mean yeah back can scoot on 1st and maybe second while the forwars are retreiving back but we need a forward that is a big metre eater. We need Benny Cross back and when Steve Simpson got injured all the forwards seemed to drop off.

They need more than an inspirational speech from Joey.

Cmon, Under 20s - it'd be wow to them. To first graders... not so much.
 
There is just not enough desire to win. Every game we have played lately, our opposition have been hungrier to win than us.
 
We have just Sh** ourselves wondering about next year. im over it now, were sh** for this year, look to next year, theres no finals chances now, and id hate to say i told you so but.....
