He was backing up from Origin and seemed to pick up an injury early on in the game.

Yeh but it is very unlike Uate to concede those kind of penalties from scrappy play the balls.

I'm not too fussed really, all i was pointing out in that post was that Uate shouldnt have been on the list of 'impressive performances tonight'.

Is anyone else getting frustrated with our kick for touch this year . On several occasions we have failed to find touch .

That is one of our many problems unfortunately CC. What frustrates me the most is that the Knights simply dont know how to attack given the many opportunites they had.

It depends. The good things he did were fantastic. The poor things he did was schoolboy crap. His second half was a lot better than his first half.

I was at a cold and rainy Wyong last Saturday watching the Centurion's and Stig was playing 7. He had a great game, looked so comfortable marshaling his troops and his short and long kicking looked great. Hope it is true that he is playing.
Yeah, it was cold and rainy last weekend. I live in the centre of Wyong and we though it was going to be like the June Long weekend in 2007. Funnily enough, it was the long weekend last weekend.

I just gett very frustrated when we get a chance to get a roll on after a pen and we fluff it .Especially when we have some really good kickers .

With the amount of penalties we received we really should have put more points on the board.

Does anyone know the crowd number?

From what I've heard from people who follow nsw cup, Stig is a great kicker, why was Gidley doing most of the kicking tonight?

Uate was good in the 2nd half imo. Was impressed. Wes was just awesome, Costigan was great & Stig looked comfortable, got some good passes away aswell a couple of nice runs. Gidley was fairly good from what i saw, Mata'utia was solid & to me, our forwards looked absolute sh*t. I did watch the game live from the lower seats, so i should watch a replay before i criticise but i seriously didn't see any of our forwards doing much.

Sorry Josh but Costigan is a froward . LOL

Costigan looked pretty good for mine. Uate had brilliant moments and completely sh*t moments haha. "Matty Utai" looked remarkable comfortable on that left wing as well. Stig's running game was very impressive.

Gidley's (I think it was him) kick for touch was just about the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. Other than that he had a great game though - as usual.

Oh, and what an epic fail that "New - cas -tle" thing on the big screen was:lol:

They should know that most Knights fans are too busy thinking up their next complaint to the Herald about locals not getting a fair go to look at the big screen:crazy:

Bit of a scrappy game, Mata'utia, Stigg, Wes and Houston were our standouts in my opinion. I wish Hilder would bulk up abit..not for his defence because its great as everyone knows but whenever he runs it he always seems to get wacked.

Gidley also converted perfectly.

I was against when he decided to take the kick from the sidekick, I will never doubt his kicking ever again. (Conversions that is!)

I thought the atmosphere was amazing tonight for a 16,000 crowd. When that first Panthers try was awarded the boo's & sound was immense & it was amazing. Like sitting in Suncorp.

Still pretty scrappy win, but at least we won, and got over 10 points, would like this to happen more often except win with ease and win easily.

Yeah, atleast we won i guess you gotta say. 2 points can go a long way to deciding whether we make the finals or not.

We were on the end of some fortunate calls to say the least. Once again Penrith didn't turn up and deliver. We didn't make the most of our possession in the first half and once again it almost come back to haunt us.

Am i just seeing things or did the knights defence open up a lot more in the last 10 or so minutes after Hilder went off? Coincidence or something to it? Maybe i'm just connecting dot that shouldnt be
