I'm hoping it clears up, hockey's just been cancelled so I might be able to hot-foot it down there on Saturday. :)

I think Kafusi deserves his spot in the side with his last game being the best for the club...Now we have Boyd and Henry is gone is it pretty much assured that Gids will be in the halves next year?

There's still Roberts, either way I hope Mullen is at 6. I'd like to see Gidley 6 Roberts 7 tonight, just to see what Roberts can do at 7.

Well my soccers off on saturday afternoon now. Providing its a nice day I might get down there early & watch the under 20's.

Hopefully a decent atmosphere aswell, penrith have a bunch of loud supporters hope we can match them in terms of noise :)

I think people are a bit tough on Kafusi. His form in the first couple of games was very good. Prior to the first home game he was visibly struggling during the warm up. A trainer was with him almost the entire time. He struggled in the game. The next home game against the Sharks each time he was replaced he looked either injured or crook. His last game was very good. I believe for a 4 week period he was injured/ill and shouldn't have even tried to play. We can do a lot worse than have an in form Kafusi in the front row.

Just read on twitter

#NRL David Middleton has told Sky Sports Radio he believes Tyrone Roberts will be ruled out for Newcastle. I expect Ryan Stig will come in

Sorry folks, I have no idea when it comes to our Juniors, whats Ryan Stigg like?
I see Mozza said it'll improve our kicking game, is that compared to Gidley? He wouldn't have a boot on him like Mullen would he?
IF the weather is bad I presume the game plan will be to kick to the corner and make the panthers work the ball from their line, I just can't see gidley been able to boot the ball into space so I hope Stigg can fill this gap?

Safe Hands

I was at a cold and rainy Wyong last Saturday watching the Centurion's and Stig was playing 7. He had a great game, looked so comfortable marshaling his troops and his short and long kicking looked great. Hope it is true that he is playing.

My first Saturday game this year, hockey gets called off, looking all good to go...until the rain and a stupid sore throat comes along...

How's the Highway down the Singleton/Maitland/Newcastle area?

Pretty busy, you better leave now if you want to make the game tomorrow?:P

Id still go regardless of both them factors as I've made a couple away trips this season. I think it will be sunny 2moz just like this arvo & Id go if I was sick :)

I meant with regards to potholes caused by the rain.

It may be sunny tomorrow, but the wind chill could be a *****. I dont want to make it worse.

Was nice & sunny today. Good outlook for tomoz. Surprising too because on Wednesday it was just about flooded everywhere.

Well with luke lewis ruled out this is a game we must win. We really need to put in a dominant performance, I'm expecting us to win by a couple of tries. Also would like to see us score over 30 points :)
