I think a very best case scenario we end with 28 points, which historically has been enough. But that would involve zero injuries, zero dumbness, zero Mann/Hoy, a bit of luck and putting teams away that on paper we should put away (which we typically don’t). Fingers crossed but I think our season is too far gone already.

Forwards were terrific again today. Love DSaf and JSaf starting combo. Sue was running hard and taking some tough hits. Klemmer managed close to 200m off the bench! Barny solid, Fitz a try and assist after a shakey start. And geez it was good to have Hunt back carting the ball out of danger. Dom too did some great work. When he puts some muscle and toughness in that big frame he’ll be a strike weapon!

I hate to say it but Mann will be rushed back next game into a key position.

Really happy with how Young is going, kick returns are ok, just needs some more leg drive and opposition really struggle to get him to ground. Needs to get get off the ground and compete for kicks though.

Would take a disaster surely. Two weeks off, would have to be Ponga, Cliff, Mitch and Brailey. Mann likely going to be centre for the rest of the year though. He and Tuala with Hunt and Dom on wings. Dom will be dropped for Toa when he’s back but it should be Mann with Dom or Hunt moving into centre. Won’t happen though will it. He has the Polaroids and appears to dictate when he plays or not.

Ok, time to come clean. Reece Walsh was never in any doubt for today's game. Truth is, my daughter and fellow forum member has a massive crush on young Reece. If I'd told her he was in doubt for today she'd have never believed me. So I sent Artist and later Lord a pm requesting they mention he was out. My daughter has spent the week either trolling news articles and websites about the warriors trying to find out if Reece was in or not, or raiding hospital emergency rooms for oxygen when things got a little too much. The scam went very well, revealed only after I showed her the messages at halftime in the game. I apologise to anyone who has been adversely affected by this, except my daughter...
